The only redeeming quality of the game is price.

I don't understand why the game was designed the way it was designed.
The jumping rat is clunky to control, since its jump animation is slow and unskippable and the game hasn't implemented memory of input.
There are multiple objectives you can do, but it's as if the dev tried to make them as unenjoyable as possible.
First and foremost, in order for an objective to count, you need to fulfill it AND finish the level - restarting does not count. Which is okay in and at itself. But for some reason, there appears a timer when you push a ball into a circle. Meaning when you finish a level, you need to wait before it's officially finished. There's also no quick level restart once it's solved. You need to wait until it takes you into the menu.
One of the objectives is to eat all apples. But you have to "attack" the apple three times before it's eaten. Just... Why?
Another objective is to have a certain amount of steps. But you can't afford to make a mistake, because while the game has a Takeback feature implemented, each takeback adds a move instead of taking it away. Meaning if you intend to go for min moves, if you make a mistake, you can restart.

It's ok. But ngl, I expected more from it. Many of the problems are rather straightforward to answer, especially when we play on utilitarianism mode. And some of the questions will repeat themselves.

As a game it's fine and enjoyable, but for 25€ it feels rather overpriced. It's a turn based strategy game with very rudimentary AI. And even though it offers you an option to have 1v1 duels, these duels offer only preset features and give little room for customization.

This is one of the games that makes me dislike Steam's binary recommendation system.

Do I recommend it? Well, I did enjoy it more than I did not. But I can't say I consider it particularly good. There are simply too many things that reduce the fun for me.

The premise of the game is simple. You're in a manor and you need to escape. The game introduces you to HP mechanics, but they're never used. You only have pleasure meter. When you get caught, enemies fill it up and you need to escape. Once you fill it up, it's over. This wouldn't be too bad. But there are also enemies you can't escape from and they're usually hidden in the most tedious segments of the game (or scattered around as random traps). Considering the game 1. doesn't have autosave, 2. autoloads not the most recent save, but the furthest one in terms of overall progress and 3. does not allow you to skip H scenes you've already seen, get ready for a tedious game over experience.

Speaking of H scenes, I like them for the most part. They are very diverse and fun to explore. But there are two things I don't understand. One, why there are moaning sounds even in bj scenes. Two, why there are moaning sounds at all. The game will display a whole bunch of dialogue messages throughout the game and as the message progresses, it plays a sound that's rather disrupting to the moans.

Other than that, there isn't really a lot to talk about. There are puzzles, which are a fun distraction, but easy. A minimap that is unnecessarily rudimentary. And a map that you need to backtrack in order to 100% the game, but no map item to ease your orientation.

All in all, I don't regret my purchase. It's not great, but not the worst game ever. Even with its shortcomings it's fairly fun to play and there's a bunch of content. 5/10.

You fight a bunch, you watch a H scene. You fight a bunch, you watch a H scene. Combat however isn't particularly engaging and the erotic scenes aren't fun either.

Hello, dear users of Steam,
I'm writing a review, or so it would seem.
This time it's about the game of Rakuen,
so sit back, relax and read until the end.

The game was made in RPG Maker XP.
So small resolution is expected-to-be.
There's no HD graphics, only pixel art you see.
Is this a bad thing? Not at all to me.

The visuals, in terms of quality, are fine.
The music is nice too. There's no ein
(or was it rather one? I don't know)
single piece I'd consider to be a no-no.

There are other aspects where this game fails.
It ain't a fighting game, it tells you a tale,
but the way it tells you is incoherent
and to me that is a huge deterrent.

A single story made of five episodes.
Too many fetch quests, walking's slow and tedious.
Searching through areas you've searched is mandatory,
or else you'll miss stuff as you go through the story.

In the story, a boy wants to say a wish, has to learn a song
in order to wake up a certain sleeping god.
Each part of the song ends one chapter,
through which you help a patient's katzenjammer.

Five episodes, five parts of a song.
These parts are not something you'd call long,
they also sound really nice, don't get me wrong,
but they are different melodies, not one full song.

None of the story's chapters is too hard,
but the first one is chaotic for the most part.
Fourth and fifth would be rather predictable.
Only second and third parts I found enjoyable.

The game also does a poor job at explaining
the point of some actions you're undertaking.
Should I run away from these ghosts? Is it for naught?
What in the world happens when I get caught?

What's important to keep track of and what's not?
What can be collected and what cannot?
Only one way to find out as the game won't say.
And that you don't miss anything you can only pray.

The game's main selling point is supposedly story,
and it would be great if it focused on just it.
Unfortunately, it's done rather poorly,
so my verdict is Not recommended.

Don't let this game fool you. Its simple graphics hide an intricate gameplay model which has rigorously tested my vocabulary. 13/10. It has slippery physics and buggy hitboxes, so it's getting a bugged grade.

Early Access Review

It's a unique take on RTS where you don't watch units as they walk around, but you monitor it from a board in your HQ.

Overall not a bad game. But the controls are clunky and unresponsive. Made me shoot an artillery strike into my own ranks once due to a failure to register a click.

Drew a decently detailed painting. Had someone comment "This is crap." on it.
So I drew a literal crap and it sold within seconds.

10/10 would do again.
