What can I say about New Vegas that hasn't been said before?
Nothing.
This game, from an objective standing, is nearly perfect. Engine related issues and time constraints aside, it's incredible that a game developed in such little time turned out to be arguably one of THE best games ever. The story, character building, and overall setting work together in what's basically a harmony of game design, making something that's not only completely captivating, but's incomparable to other RPGs.
Should you play New Vegas? Yeah. Yeah you should?

"What about downsides?"
99% of this games shortcomings are either bugs, or have been twisted into some of the most iconic ♥♥♥♥ in games (Oliver Swanick is a fantastic example). Like other Bethesda open world games, it reuses VA's like crazy, but they do a great job here, and those who didn't, are still incredible, just because it adds to that little goofy tinge Fallout has always had. Bugs? You can't fix all of them, but you can absolutely try! Unofficial patches, Anti-crash plugins, complete rewrites that make the game VERY stable on modern hardware.

"What about mods?"
Plenty. Everything you could personally want! You like modern weapons? You're handled. You favor lore friendly Fire-arms? Bingo, they have those. You want to watch your pc explode into a fiery mess with 800 mods, an enb, a reshade, all in 4k ultrawide? Bob's your uncle, baby, send it.
Personally, this game is so fantastic in my eyes, I barely mod it for my own playthroughs. I just use bug fixes, QoL mods, patches, and if I'm feeling fancy, a playerhome. New Vegas is so fun, I don't have to add mountains and mountains of mods to get a proper experience, its THAT good.

So overall, do I recommend New Vegas? Yes! Resoundingly yes! I recommend doing EVERYTHING, all quests, several playthroughs with different builds. I recommend trying quest mods, hardcore mod, collecting all the uniques, getting all the achievements (I did that). Hell, I even recommend screwing around, finding the best dialogue in the game, or just buying it alone. This game is a masterpiece, and I'm glad everybody finally recognizes that it is one.

Yes. Play New Vegas.

Worthwhile on deep sale, but limit framerate to 60 to avoid bugs. Also vehicle audio is ♥♥♥♥♥♥ six ways to sunday. If you can look past these, its just SR3 with a new pretty layer of paint.

After praising this game for ages, I think its time to review it.
Pros:
-Fun gameplay
-Awesome Story
-Best soundtrack ever.
-Interesting Characters
-Thick skin

Cons:
-VERY Hard (You'll break your R key before beating the game) (This can be a pro depending on your opinion)
-Large Levels (This wouldn't be an issue if you wouldn't died almost instantaneously)
-WINDOWS
-Too many long distances between enemies with guns... and they can see you when you can't see them
-Not the soundtrack

If you love a challenge, hard games, or not getting lunch, I recommend it.
If you don't like hard gameplay, I still suggest the soundtrack, as its only 15$ for 42 songs
