as a gamer play lot of soul like game
this game i wont compare directly to from software game cos this game is similar to code vein than other souls
story
u wake up as an unknown moe entity and try find what u r in the apocalypse world
ok story not great not bad little twist
[btw it have quest system like dks or cv too]
the Voice actor is ok not bad but last event in game feel like all of em holding hourglass in REPO

gameplay [this game pace is like CV but bosses act fast like ER dlc lol]
like an upgrade from code vein in term of flow of combat
common attack pattern style like other soul [DKS CV ER] with skill and charging attack
have 2 extra thing call 1.spell frame [just a character skill] that have parry block buff and dash longer [parry is overpower if u cant parry this game is start to bs] 2.spell [just imagine it magic in ER ]
movement instead of roll only it do same as CV that have dash and roll
the BS is how in the world dashing feel sluggish than rolling lol
u roll when no lock on and u dash when lock on something [why it bad cos u need to keep cancel lock on to roll I not really into it]
I forget to mention 1st this game have no stamina so u can spam to ur heart content
2nd this game have mechanic call Sync it just a CV style that u can hit enemy for MP Sync is a rework of that system make it more fun to play [it just mix both posture bar like sekiro with CV system i mention]
4/5 flow good feel great to move around and killing thing around [-1 from the dashing is annoying as F]

NOW THE WORST PART OF THIS GAME
Designing
what this mean. it about map,enemy,boss design
i start with boss
boss it like it copy what shouldnt copy from other soul game that game call NIOH
why enemy have plenty of 1 shot i mean even lvling some hp in early boss it still 1 shot
if it not 1 shot it will just outright combo u make u stunlock and meet jesus
many enemy in this game learn to be like Margit in ER. What they do ? DELAY EVERY SINGLE THING[some boss not delay and that boss is a really fun fight]
score if no boss i like is 1/5 on a bad side most of em not really fun to fight. but if score of the boss i like alone it will be 4/5 really good time

now enemy design [some boss in game turn to be ELITE in game so i wont talk abt them]
this game for trash i put only 3 type [both type if they can hurt u. it really hurt]
1.Trash like sekiro that as long as u spam anything u will kill it ezily
2.Tanky Bast*rd that hit like a cannon boom in someone asses. tank i not mean it slow it just fast as F boi
3.the one that have some insane stunlock or the attack that can kill u in 1 shot and no way to save urself. this one is outright stupid [and those is early game]
1/5 at least it have some ok side that make enemy feel new [-score most from 1shot/combo and delay attack for 2 and 3]

Map design the extreamly bad point
Map is outright a maze. the map feel so big that u need run for ages. the map is like darks soul 1 but more confusing.Game won't tell u much where to go at early game it have like 2-3 path to run around it feel good for adventure vibe i want to check every area. BUT here come another BS the enemy placement in game is outright unfair. if u want to investigate area u need to face a TONS of enemy and those enemy not just trash it bring whole family to kill u.
many Cheap trick that u will know 80% of item u can pick in the ground will have a trap [it turn boring since u can predict it ez] next cheap trick is small/alley area with elite and some ranged enemy spam bomb or gun or magic. it make game more annoy instead.[oh i forget mention about small alley that any attack can hit u make u fall out to dead] Some main area in game will have mechanic that make u need run like some camera try to look at u and kill u.why it bad [it can be fun] cos the game give too many cheap trick already. if it a fair fight with those mechanic it will feel ok but it too many bs same time.

[btw the map design it good to investigate and feel rewarding sometimes. it just fall of the horse when they putting enemy in game]

Summary
it a soul game that made give a vibe DEV is newbie that want to do soul like game and they have budget
it a ok game that u can play for fun once or twice but it not a game that have impact to me enough to think about play it again after uninstall lol. nothing much unique in game that can keep my interest running.
if it like IGN i say this game have no soul cos it just mixing many soul like game in 1 [the sync mechanic and no stamina is great]

SCORE 3/5 even the design is outright stupid bs i hate it so much but other element in game is fun to play

NOT RECCOMMEND TO NEW SOUL LIKE PLAYER cos this game is like u start game in mid game other game

It have pro and con but the thing is the game have too many thing that go to hell and even satan say he sorry
the pro are
1.gunplay is fun. gun sound great.
2.stealth is ezier.
3.improve many qol from pd2
now the con
1.EACH weapon leveling is pure stupid. waste people time grinding those thing. [This make me feel all thing do is worthless]
2.the Skill tree that based on 3 BUFFS. It sound not bad but it like doing chore all the time. like oh i need get buff all time i need do this do that. it just not fun
3.SERVER why da fak doing coop private 2p and my friend and I ping 200 WTF stupid as F
4.the Weapon customize.
4.1 stat that ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ useless just pure ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. a weapon that dmg stat higher than other one but need 3 shot kill while other that almost half stat do 1 shot
4.2. Mod that feel useless and hard to understand how da f it work
4.3. the Wording that confuse as F.
5.Map that just copy paste and less than 15 mission
6.my game keep stutter when ever i do crouch walk on online game [solo beta never happen]

I don't know why Dev all just use server instead of peer to peer.

This is a fun game 100%
but for people reading this review
this game gameplay is so good but the content is too less
the pro of the game is how much u can interact with monster like climbing up cyclops or make a cyclops bridge.
this game have a dungeon but it feel not even worth explore because the reward so bad and the good weapon can get from merchant lol
for main quest is so damn short extremely short
Is it worth full price NOPE. but on sale like 40-50% i say it worth
I not put it on negative about price because 90% game these day is overprice.

finally after get the game like 3 years ago i can play it
the problem that make me meh last about this game first
1.the prologue lack of interesting [im bad at english] not good enough to make me keep play it 1st time
2.no controller lead to fps drop a lot

But now after play tale of arise and the feeling of JRPG game is awaken again i play this game

this game is meh at the start like i said but after u learn how game is the tactic is good
the alchemy system keep me farming like i have nothing else to do in life
story is good so far as for the theme of the game
nothing make me meh this game or feel it not worth it

-prologue [the qol it look bad until u reach a certain point. around 1-3h up to how fast u are]
-fps drop with no controller
-fps drop when u synthesis [the shiny is real too bright even pc from 2022 fps drop] [not affect the gameplay]
