A metroidvania-lite with interesting gameplay, great visuals and really good music.

Incredibly charming game, with a metroidvania-ish progression. The paint system starts out a little bit restrictive, but soon opens up and lets you go wild. It's great fun to come back and explore places you previously were not able to visit as you progress the story and gain new abilities.

The story is fairly alright, nothing too outstanding but does a good enough job with pacing and encouraging progression. It does a decent enough job addressing the themes of its story, even if it can be a little bit surface level at times.

There's a ton of little tiny interactions that are very charming and add a lot to the game, such as how the hint system works. Lena Raine's soundtrack is wonderful, as is the sound design to integrate said soundtrack into the game.

All in all, I still had a fantastic time with this game. There are a few weaknesses here and there, but the game was so charming (I've used this a lot this review but I think it fits well) that it managed to put a smile on my face almost all the way through. It took be about 15 hours to 100% the game with minimal external help.

This is pretty much Wipeout on PC, with some pretty good modding and VR support.

Very hip, very cool VR game.

Looks great, runs well, fantastic soundtrack.

Fair but challenging difficulty and progression.

Great swordplay and a fantastic workout.

Not the greatest in terms of content variety, but the core systems are so tightly tuned it's worth coming back for more.

After a very long time in Early Access, and a brief period where it seemed like development halted completely, the spiritual successor to Flatout and Destruction Derby games is finally released.

And what a job Bugbear has done. The driving physics are a middle-ground between arcade and simulation, and the destruction and damage model is one of the best in the genre.

There is a fully featured career mode with car and part buying, a variety of modes and a fairly large roster of vehicles that have tangible differences, pros and cons.

If you were a fan of Flatout or Destruction Derby, there is probably something to like here too.

Early Access Review
While not as fully featured as KSP, it's a good start so far. There is a relatively small number of ship parts at the moment, but there is a lot of modularity and flexibility for what is there.

If you want a space game right now, KSP is probably more complete, but this is a good start. Looking forward to seeing the game developed more.

Creation tools are very powerful, very easy to end up spending hours creating the perfect park. Would recommend based on the creation tools alone.

Graphics are great, art style is charming and the music is excellent.

On the management side, could use a bit more work. Even with the new update, it's still fairly easy to keep a park going once you get over the initial bump. Stuff like having to manage prices for stalls by clicking on each one individually can get very infuriating in larger parks.

However, I would still wholly recommend this game. The creative tools are second to none, and despite the game being slightly too easy, it's still interesting enough to keep me engaged.
