great game until you reach a section of the game where they give you a shotgun and throw everything at you and having detection issues with reloading and given 3 secs to grab ammo even when im on easy i shouldn't have to deal with that ♥♥♥♥!

so it took me 64 hours to beat the entire main quests and i have no interests in doing the sub quests simply because 1). they require you to grind just to unlock descendants and my entire goal was to beat the game & 2). once you beat the game they inform you can do hard difficulty and there is no additional quests nor the game allows you to play the game from the beginning on hard difficulty.

They added a new colossus that has no ties to the main game and no reason to even want to beat if its not even a quest to complete nor has any real VALUE except if you need to do it for specific materials for certain items you want to research.

i did enjoy the game and i do recommend playing it but once i beaten the game i feel that it should have more quests that want me to keep playing more.....

The game is fantastic, great story line and unexpected outcomes, i can say one of the best games i have a honor to play. may contain spoilers below depends on how you interpret it!

this is one of those games that made me so sad while i progressed as i got to know all the characters i was constantly around and even romanced one of them via my 1st play through and even had hard choices that resulted in the loss of some of the characters i bonded with even if they were not my companions in the beginning or at the end of the game.

I cannot fathom anyone who plays this game to not feel any emotions or sympathy for any of the characters just as long as you keep this some thought, you cant save everyone there is a way but that path is a hard one unfortunately for me i wasn't lucky to save everyone & this game does a hell of a good job making you feel as if you either made the right decision, bad or even a decision you may regret but felt you had no choice kind of emotions.

For the cons of this game, i did suffer performance issues in certain areas of the game even on med settings on resolution of 2K (2560x1440) 16:9 aspect ratio but beyond that its a very good game and do recommend to try it out!

The other cons i can recall is most of the shops that sells weapons, ammo etc really sucks to the point where you ask when do i see the good stuff to buy all these weapons sucks and you have a lot of credits to spend i can tell you that if you have the expectation of sellers to sell you anything above rare or with good stats you really need to lower your expectations, i browsed every single seller and 98% of them are selling weapons that either are rare or common but have crappy base stats or have pre-installed mods (weapon attachments) that either hinder the weapons stats/performance. for example the OUTLAND shop in Atlantis when you first meet the guy he "CLAIMS" he has the best stuff out there like i mean hes the guy you go to when you want the best weapons in the game as he claims to have, however when you enter the building, you feel he has quality stuff based on how premium his shop looks but all he has is barely anything to buy from. He is basic that type of shop you'll enter once and never enter it ever again, because he never updates his inventory nor offers items that has any value to your playstyle, only thing hes useful if you require ammo or certain resources but does not have the premium resources like titanium, just the basic resources.

If your the guy who like fully automatic weapons, don't expect to have any fully automatic weapons for awhile the best one personally was a drum gun that i got from killing a random enemy and it was fully automatic though i had to modify it to upgrade its base stats and if you want to convert your favorite weapon a fully automatic weapon, expect for it to be locked behind a skill you need to unlock and it can be awhile before obtaining that skill and then having to find the resources to be able to apply the fully automatic (if capable to the weapon your modding) to your weapon.

Throughout my play through i have struggled seeing weapons with good enough stock dps stats i mostly would see dps that never goes over 15dps and only ones i have seen them go up as i got closer to the end of the game or when i get lucky and see a gun that is over 15dps.

Don't get me started on game attachments that improve the dps because yes they will improve the dps but depending on the mod you install or the type of weapon you're modding the dps won't be significant enough to feel powerful enough especially on certain parts of the game that ultimately kicks your ass simply because the enemy your facing has OP weapons that can kill you faster if you're not prepared ahead of time before you encounter that specific type of enemy (The Hunter Enemy specifically) best guns to use that i found best is the vampires gift weapons and the old earth shotgun that deals 200+ dps and with upgrading it you can up the dps to at least 400+dps that is if you meet the skills needed to unlock specific attachments and meet the resource requirements to attach the mod to it. You can unlock attachments by researching the ability to specific categories for different groups of attachments, this one is time consuming because you have to find all the necessary components/resources to research them and it does take your resources away that can be used to mod a weapon as the research terminal, weapon, space suit and industrial work benches share the same/similar amount and type of resources.

Inventory management is key because you can easily overburden yourself carrying too much stuff and the worst part i hate the most if you drop something, it never disappears, next time you visit that same location all the stuff your previously dropped will still be there. i dropped so many items i didn't even need in the spaceport of Atlantis that they never de-spawned and was always there and had no reason to re-pick them up. that's waste of ram and can affect performance for the rest of your play through.

The menus are just horrible, i have have to dig though multiple windows just to access my missions, view the planet i'm on, view my inventory, credits, my skills and even my ships inventory.

I also hate that when i either upgrade or move my cargo containers around in the ships builder mode, it seems that all my stored cargo just disappears, with no way of restoring the items i worked hard to obtain. I wish there was a way but unfortunately make sure you remove all the contents from your ships inventory before modifying your ship!

game runs, but has slight performance issues, whenever i switch a graphical settings it will go under 30fps and never go up except certain cutscenes, i have to exit and restart game to apply them every time.

no matter what resolution i set the game to, it seems to have trouble saying at 60fps and let alone dlss doesn't seem to work

beyond that game is good
