This is one of those rare games that's different from most of the other games out there. You have a sentient car that keeps you alive thru some pretty rough areas created by some experiment gone wrong if I recall the story properly. Thruout the game you upgrade your car, do some repairs in the field, as well as find resources to keep you going, and some new ones. More tech and options open as you progress the story, and you can revisit places for extra materials. Only real complaints I'd have is you pretty much end game before you get into the absolute final upgrades, which doesn't really matter a bunch, and you can get them after endgame, as it can continue on a bit if you want to just keep playing. I also wish there was more, but I did get a solid 40 hours of game play on this, probably do-able in 30 or so though is what to expect. Very fun game!

First off, don't know why all the hate on actual good games lately, sure some things COULD have been done better, but that's pretty much every game ever. I got a good 125+ hours of playthru doing all the quests, which easily warrants $60. The graphics were good, the game was fun, and was like all other similar Bethesda titles I love. I appreciate games that don't give 100 options and playthrus for every quest, as I feel like to not miss stuff I need to follow a walkthru for every part of the game, and that kind of ruins it for me, so I love that I can just play Bethesda games, and enjoy them for what they are. I think the temples part of the game to get powers was their only downfall, as we don't want to replay thru the same content, and we don't want to run to towers 100x for max power ups, but there's mods for this for PC anyways, they are just a pain to use. I really do with we got powers earlier and thruout the playthru, because when I was done, I was done like most games.

All that being said, I had an absolute blast playing this game, it had PLENTY of content, just maybe not what everyone was expecting. I love they did it in space, but I think everyone wanted to treat it like a Space Sim, and it's NOT a space sim, it's Fallout, in a space theme. It had plenty of humor, lots of guns, pretty cool upgrades, the ship building was decent although could use a touch of work, which they may have done, I played really early like on initial release mostly.

Some games that are released and you get 5 hours of garbage playthru deserve mostly negative, but if we keep giving good games like this mostly negative for the wrong reasons, we are going to end up with crappier games and AAA titles going for $$$$ instead of fun, which we are already seeing, and why so many new games have been underwhealming from most AAA companies, and why some indie games, although only a handful, have been a pleasure to play.

This is one of the closest games I've played to Satisfactory and Factorio, but without any threats or monsters, the systems are similar. This game has a few extra moving parts that both the other games don't do, and it does it very well, although there's a bit of a learning curve because the tutorial is lacking. For an alpha game, there's QUITE a bit to mess around with in v0.18, the release I'm playing on. The dev is releasing v0.19 soon, and is still actively working on the game, still active on discord too.
So the good, there's lots of moving parts and interconnecting parts and control on how to build your factory, and a crazy upgrade path, I'm 90 hours in, still not at current end game, still plenty to do, re-do, and fix with my factory, and still having quite a bit of fun.
The only real bad I found is conveyor belts moving up and down are a little clunky, although if you hold SHIFT when moving them, which is the games way of auto-completeing big moves, they do work better then placing them one by one, but this area is a little frustrating and needs work as of v0.18. Really other then a couple other subtle things, this games really really surprisingly solid, and well worth the money imo.

If you like GOOD factory games, do not pass this one up, and give it a couple hours in the start to learn the game, once you get rolling with the basics, you'll find it really has just about everything to offer, and every time you're thinking, it'd be cool if I can do this, you find out there's some way to do it that was hidden in the insane tree of things to unlock.

I don't really review a ton of games, but I think with some marketing, this is one that should really take off, the only factory games I've played that I'd have to say are better currently, are literally Satisfactory, and Factorio, which isn't even really the same type of factory game.

If you are into this kind of game give this a shot, I think you will be really surprised at what is has to offer, in the current alpha state!

Played this game since early access, it was fun then, and is fun now, but they've added tons of new stuff on release. It's a really well done game, it keeps your interest, has multiple ways to complete quests, sometimes with better outcomes then others, but nothing that's going to make you want to reload because you lost some awesome item, although most of the rewards are upgrades and pretty solid. The worlds done very very well, lots to explore, lots you can walk right by and find later, and a very interesting land layout. So many games lack here but this one's solid. The skill systems good, pretty much any stat setup you start out with, will be fun and powerful enough to get you thru the game. There's lots of mini puzzle quests and dungeons, and some are pretty challenging. It's just a really good mix of what makes a good game. I like the voice acting as well I think it adds a lot of charm to the game. The crafting system is fun and you feel like you are upgrading, but you can also find really cool stuff on the open world, as well a dungeons, and quite a bit of the time you are finding actual useful stuff which is great. I usually don't do reviews on games unless they are solid, but I've really enjoyed both my playthru's with this one so far, and think it's worth recommending, as well as worth the money.

Played this a longggg time ago. Crafted a really cool base, and did a ton of PVP, ultimately liked the single player feel and base building aspects more then the PVP stuff. People are saying abandone-ware, The games pretty much complete and very playable, but never really took off. I have 200+ hours on it and enjoyed almost all of them felt like I easily got my money's worth. If you are into base build, leveling up and getting stronger, and light PVP, you will really enjoy this game.
If you cry over a couple of bugs here and there, and think because it doesn't have a million features you think it "should" have, then you will probably cry abandone ware after playing for 100 hours and feel like you've been wronged somehow, but if you got 100 hours of gameplay, you got your $20 worth.

I played 180 hours of beta, and they've added a whole bunch more to release. Survival type games lately have been my favorite types of games to play, Conan, Valheim, Ark, The Forest, Subsistance, etc etc the list goes on a mile. This is easily in the Top 3 of my favorite survival games, and could very well move into my favorite with all the additions they've made.
The graphics, and sounds are amazing. The game play is always fun, and I find myself crafting random stuff that has nothing to do with any of the missions just for fun, it's simply just fun to play, which is the thing I look for most when gaming.
They do things a little different then the average survival game, we have missions we go on, on different spots of the planet, sometimes the maps overlap and sometimes they don't, but every area feels and looks really good.
It's overall an amazing game, I'd extremely highly recommend it if you like Survival games, you will get hundreds of hours of fun out of this. Nearly 200 hours in, and I'll prolly dump another 300+ hours into this, which is odd because I usually get bored of most games after 50 - 100 hours of gameplay, or feel like I've completed everything, but the fresh drops, although at first I didn't like the idea, became one of the things that changed the way I play survival games, and kept thing's very interesting for me.
Buy this game, you definitely will not regret it. One of the best games of the year for sure!!! Don't miss this one!!

You can zen out and play this just collecting resources or doing some level up fights etc, and mild quests, even some daily bosses. There is depth to the game too though, and some boss fights that are very helpful to team up for, but not something you need to spend hours raiding on, everything you need other people for is pretty fast paced. I usually listen to music and just play this when I don't want to do something you have to concentrate hard on. I've logged lots of hours on this in a small amount of time, it gets addicting, although a bit repetative as well. You can unlock everything in game, but to really enjoy it plan on spending $30 - $50 imo. Couple updates ago they took some items out of the cash shop, and made them 100% active for anyone who spent anything ever, so it's not really a pay to win game, but you can sell in game currency you buy for real $$ to get a little ahead. That being said it's not a huge money sink, and a very fun game overall, especially for free without limitations.

First off I have no idea how people are giving this game a negative review, I bought it pre-release, and played thru it twice, both times were extremely enjoyable. So many things in this game were done right. The custom building of ground and air vehicles, the many different ways to solve puzzles. The alien planet and animals were extremely cool. The weapon upgrading systems were fun. Even the scanner to find resources underground that gives detailed scans about the items and amounts, it was fun just running around looking for deposits. They've added more since I've played and made it f2p! In this games current state I'd easily drop $20 on it, which I think is more then I originally paid, and be completely content with it. This games better then so many other games I've paid for. I'm writing this review because I enjoyed this game so much, that if you missed out you should absolutely play it, it's great!
