If you wish to play a co-op game with other human players against the Automated Alliance, I suggest you proceed with caution, as beating this AA is almost impossible if its difficulty is set higher than some point. The following link gives an example of how an AA dominate the board in a very small number of turns, and shares some idea for mitigating its aggression (posted by a designer):

I wish that in future updates there could be some checklist-like options for players to alter more game rules, so they could avoid some ... embarrassment.

Frankly, this is actually NOT a game. So don't expect too much interesting gameplay experience. On the contrast, the poor level design and control scheme (esp. for mouse) may cause players feel frustrating / uncomfortable during the play - it seemed the developers were inexperienced and were unfamiliar with RPG Maker (or any game making software) at the time. However, players may still find certain things enjoyable if they could get used to all the weakness above. Personally I am very fond of the cinema scene (after making all NPC but John in the hall disappeared).

For the story, there were some unnecessary contents like 'combat with a squirrel', but the overall quality is acceptable. That ending may be a happy one for the patient, though it might be brutal from others' point of view. But after all, the client is the patient, and no one would know what exactly happened other than Eva and Neil. Btw, I think the way how neurodiversity were treated in game is a little bit questionable, and I did not feel good when I discovered how River's conditions were actually used in the scenario. Poor River.

It is also need to mention that <To the Moon> has great music tracks. They not only helped a lot on creating atmospheres, some tracks are worth listening to even outside the game.

In all, playing <To the Moon> is like watching a short movie (in pixel arts). It has its weakness, but worth the time.

The controller setup is not acceptable. And there's little guidance in single player mode. Put these two together, you will have to pay some time learning where to go and how to get there. It would be a waste of time playing in this way.

I have requested a refund.
