was already hyped when i finished the demo a year ago, and now it has pleasantly surprised me with how far it's come. still as addictive as i remember. obviously not for everyone, but the difficulty scaling is good, it feels great to improve your skills, and it might be what i regularly play when waiting for new ultrakill updates.
maybe it's because the demo had already gotten me pretty familiar with the game, but i skipped to the fourth hub area after finishing the first hub for the funny (and i would've skipped more hub areas if i could've). it's not like dev made it super difficult to do... hope he doesn't mind. (i plan on going back and doing them anyway.) (edit: turns out there's an achievement for reaching the top of the nexus from the first portal. wonder why that is...)
highly recommend, i think it's worth the price even not on sale. i encourage you to at least try it, and simply refund it if you dislike it.
