For someone who has never played a Monster Hunter game in his life I can say that this game is very fulfilling when it comes to my inner aesthetic with RPGs.
I have always loved the idea of big weapons and even bigger monsters. So naturally just the name alone was a huge draw. Spending basically a full time jobs worth of time in the first week of owning I can say that its definitely a title I would recommend to anyone, new or old to Open World, Dynamic RPGs. It doesnt has as big of a combat curve to something like Dark Souls but on par to something like The Witcher.
I picked up this game for half off and it is well worth the full price and if you can catch it on sale, DO IT. I am already in the process of getting the pre-order for Iceborne. I am very thrilled to see how this game will progress in the coming years.
