Very disappointing unfortunately.

We were massively excited to play, as our group had enjoyed the base game immensely. But this DLC is essentially just reskins of the base game levels, mostly the same enemies, with some new bosses that aren't super exciting, and new creature-based powers that *sound* interesting, but in practice just cause the screen to fill up with chaos and make it very difficult to know what's even going on

We did 3 runs -- the first 2 times, the game broke in horrible ways so we couldn't complete the run. On the 3rd time we breezed through and beat the final boss in less than a minute. Now there's not really much more notable left to do, and we're left feeling a bit eh. I'd really hope for more than world reskins in a $10 DLC -- feels more like the kind of thing that should have been a free update honestly

Boson X is a 3D endless-runner about discovering particle, and wanting to scream in the process.

Unrest is a story-driven, text-heavy adventure set in a fantasy version of India. You play as a group of different individuals, each with their own stories and problems in the world, and the choices you make greatly affect how each tale plays out. As you walk around and interact with the people around you, you'll learn information and make decision, which will ultimately lead each of your protagonists down good or bad paths.

If you're not the sort of person who likes text-heavy games, Unrest probably isn't going to win you over. If you do like your story games, though, this is well worth a punt. Note that the game does suffer from some technical issues, with stuttering and crashing, but not enough to take away from experience. You can watch my playthrough here: http://youtu.be/UVJUl4_jTxs

Imagine if you took the Trials series and replaced the bikes with a fat man who likes to slide around on his arse. That's essentially Action Henk - it's a speedrunning, bum-sliding racer, in which you attempt to reach the end of each level as quickly as possible to beat all your friends' times online. I've been playing the alpha builds of this game for a long time now, since it was only 3 levels, and I've had an absolute blast with it. Definitely worth picking up, especially if you like to battle with friends' times online. Here's my quick video playthrough: http://youtu.be/mkxfudMervU

Oh man, this is so wonderful. I've played a whole ton of roguelikes over the years, and although I'm still quite early into it, I think Shattered Planet might be one of my favourites. Imagine Dungeons of Dredmor crossed with Outernauts, and you're sort of in the right ballpark. When you first begin, you will get *nowhere* - you'll be dead within a minute - but as you keep playing and building up your stats and your weapon locker, the true depths of this game are properly exposed. I've played a whole lot of zombie survival games, so it's rare that I see anything new in these sorts of games that I haven't already seen dozens of times. Over 9000 Zombies doesn't really bring anything new to the table, but its straight-talking no-frills approach to the genre is laudable. You're plopped down in the middle of the hordes, and told to shoot and build your way to victory. There's a bit of tower defense going on too, through which you can put together a base to keep the undead back, and then hope for the best. The idea behind Spoiler Alert isn't a new one by any means (check games like Retro/Grade out if you like the look of this) but developer MEGAFUZZ really pulls it off well. You start at the *end* of the game, and must rewind backwards through the action, making sure to unkill enemies and uncollect coins that the hero previously already bagged, otherwise you cause a time paradox. It's bright and bouncy, and there's plenty of challenge to be found. You can find my video playthrough here: http://youtu.be/rB79Clm4Uas

If you're into your roguelike-likes (you know, games like Spelunky and Binding of Isaac), Probability 0 is a must-play. You venture downwards, killing enemies to progress and collecting powers that help you beat the more difficult baddies down in the nether regions. Ironically there's a huge amount of depth to this game, and much like with Spelunky, it's only after several hours (and dozens of deaths) that you truly begin to see its full worth. Space Run provides a lovely twist on your regular tower defense game. You make cargo runs through space, and enemies and asteroids attempt to destroy your ship every step of the way. You can place guns, rockets, thrusters and all other sorts of useful resources on your ship that will take down the incoming hordes, and keep you relatively safe -- at least for a while. Space Run keeps you on your toes at all times, and can be brutally difficult if you're aiming to go for the top scores. Well worth investing in if you like your tower defense games. Munin is a fairly interesting platform puzzler, in which you rotate sections of the level to forge a path for the hero. Your goal is to collect each of the feathers scattered around each level, and although it seems quite tame at first, the puzzle prove rather tricky after a short while. Definitely one for those who enjoy puzzlers like The Bridge and Closure. You can watch my short playthrough here: http://youtu.be/WntpZdxUNAY
