So I'm putting this in as a negative, as I do think that this is a downgrade from Exit 8. The team have clearly tried hard not to end up doing just exactly the same thing again, but unfortunately there isn't any challenge in this game. Most anomilies can either be run through, or solved by sitting down. There's no peril or restarting so you just blow through each task without concern, or caution.

I have played Exit 8 through multiple times, watching different pals have a go at the anguish of failure, but watching them dive straight back in in defiance. I can't see that happening with this one.

If you want an anomaly-like game, this is only partially what you're after. I'm not going to refund it, as i in some way got a competent game for what I paid, but I will reserve judgement on that for Team Kotake's next game. Hopefully they balance it back towards the Exit8 formula of challenge and fun.

A beautifully crafted little puzzle box of a game, and it has a message! I went in looking for my Obra Dinn/Heaven's Vault/Curse of the Golden Idol fix and it delivered. If knowledge based games like the above and Outer Wilds are your thing, this is a great addition to your collection.

Kind of a blind buy given it came up on so man y game of the year lists. Finished it in half a day (where I likely should have done something more productive) and am craving more. I've been waiting for another Return of the Obra Dinn and this scratched that itch perfectly.

Superb. I tested the FREE demo for this and was hooked. As with all Metroidvania games the controls can feel a little limiting in the initial ten minutes but that soon wears off when you start collecting powerups!

As soon as the demo end screen hit I immediately bought the full title. Highly recommended

Overly simplistic, disappointing based upon the promise. I haven't played it in a while but I am annoyed at myself for taking the recommendation from the Cyan newsletter.

Just brilliant. Cannot recommend this masterpiece highly enough. It's like a first-person logic problem whodunnit! If you're in any way a fan of mystery games or puzzle games you owe it to yourself to play this game and support Lucas Pope in his incredible solo efforts.

I cannot recommend this highly enough. The single best and most replayable game I onw in VR.

P.S. Be careful with your cables!

Great little mod that leaves you wanting more. Awesome to see the Portal universe up close and in person!
