this genuinely is a very impressive game to have been made by a solo dev - especially over the course of only 3-4 years. there's a lot to do, the gameplay is very satisfying, and it's unique. some reviews talk badly of the non open-world aspect of the game, but that's a plus for me - open world games tend to be devoid of life in the in-between areas, especially when it comes to indie games made by one or even a few devs. this game implements an 'overworld' map, where you can move your character around rts-style, moving from one point of interest to another. the points of interest have their own very large maps on their own, and are very fleshed out and detailed, but now you don't have to spend 30 minutes walking to the next location through some very bland clearly not thought-out landscapes. in the overworld map, you can hold space to speed up time and go faster to your next destination - a feature that is usually replaced by 'fast travel' in other open world games, since nobody wants to make that trek over and over.

i would very much recommend this game, the progress that has been made is insane, and will most likely continue to be insane based off the dedication from the developer.

edit: to add, the overworld map system is inspired by mount & blade, as are a lot of the other features
