Don't expect the game to give you smooth experience; it's plagued with random fps dips no matter what settings you've set the game to. Even a community performance mods won't help you that much.

Content-wise, it serves as a perfect sequel to Jedi Fallen Order. The open-world design is coherent although the collectibles might be overwhelming at times if you're going for a completion run. The stance system offers a wide-array of options on how you want the combat experience to be.

Get this game only when it is on sale. The performance issues is not worth the full price.

Im very late to the game. Before this, I had played the game during its early-access stage years ago.
Oceangate might have turned my curiosity on again to buy the game during sales and here I am 45 hrs in the game enjoying every last bit of deep sea discoveries offered in-game.

A must-play if you like survival games. Might have a chance to lessen your Thalassophobia too.

To newer audience, I can personally say that this game is like Dark Souls 3 Open world with a more streamlined approach.

In all honesty, Elden Ring has been fun so far, but there are some things that I wish they could be fixed.
- Ultrawide native support, Fixed by Flawless Widescreen, but I had to be offline the whole time. 16:9 user won't be having this kind of issue anyway.
- DLSS/FSR feature,
- and a more stable performance , There are workarounds for any kind of fps related issues posted and tested by the community

FromSoft has truly made a good game indeed, but is it also a good game for PC platform?
More dedicated work needs to be put in porting this game.

I also found out from the community that FromSoft wont be bothered to care about technical side of things, especially since the porting of Dark Souls 1 on PC. A bit of a disappointment, so it is what it is I guess.

I played this while waiting for Elden Ring to be released.

To be honest, Baghead is one of the best NPC I ever met.

I played this Souls-like ARPG while waiting for Elden Ring to be released. I ended up enjoying the gameplay.

Pros:
+ Combat is twitchy and responsive; almost every attacks can be parried based on its direction.
+ Locational based-damage system. Spamming attack button might not always be the solution.
+ Finishers are integral to the equipment/loot management. It is enjoyable to watch as well.
+ Cool-looking exoskeleton rigs everywhere. Dress up as a fast moving cyborg, a bulky cyber-hulk, or a weird looking nano-infected robot.
+ They put the protagonist from the previous title in the game; with quests and all.
Cons:
- The story does not have enough depth.
- Occasional fps hiccup every time the game is launched.
- The first half part of the game might be tedious to some players (fast travel option only appears at the later part).
- The Kraken DLC is damn short despite the fact that the content offer something fresh to the game overall.

- Buy the game only during Steam Sales.
- Don't buy the Anniversary Edition. You can find a way to play all of its content in the Special Edition.
- Don't follow any instruction from Youtube Skyrim mods clickbait videos. (especially Sinitar)
- For those who doesn't have time, stop modding the game yourself just to mess it up later on. Use a platform called "Wabbajack". (seriously, google it)

(+) Pure fun, Classic Halo Experience. Can't go wrong.
(-) Progression; why do I have to pay for battle pass just to unlock basic colors?
