It hit me after 8 hours of playing this game that the undertone of shooting hot girls is slightly psychotic, though in reality it's just a fun game where you get to shoot and gain skillpoints while also getting to look at something pretty instead of something ugly, adding to the aesthetics. Non-DEI games with pretty female characters is always a plus in any game and the price is good for what you get. You can also yeet the robot girls around when they ragdoll which is amusing.

This game, quite literally doesn't work. Apparently it has been a common issue for years that the game simply doesn't work, and when it works it's super glitchy. There seems to be third-party fixes out there to limit the FPS so that the game can play, but there are also tweaks that can be done. It is amazing that they actually got away with selling this game on steam.

If you want the game to work you need to set the FPS maximum limit to 60, you can do this from Nvidia control panel if you use an Nvidia card without getting a third party tool. Once you do that, It's edgy nostalgia vampire, so you know it's good.

I love old N64 games, back in the days where you had to check every nook and cranny for secrets, making sure to collect all map information and hugging the walls to make sure you find everything that a level has to offer. PC Turok looks so much better than the N64 variant, even after upscaling graphics on RetroArch and such, but it does so with fidelity to the old one, it just looks sharper and higher res, as it should be. Also, the audio has an option for N64 music or new PC variants, the N64 are much better to me, the PC music audio seem like washed down, looping versions of the originals. After I get 100% achievements, I'm doing the same for Turok 2, for Turok 3 I will have to emulate it, shame they couldn't bring it to steam.
