Ultimate digital YGO experience with over 10K cards at its release. Generous amount of pack-purchasing currency awaiting all players and the fact that cards can be dismantled for 33% of their worth in crafting material ensure that any, ANY (banlist legal) deck can expeditiously be made.

What will transpire in the future remains to be seen but for now some delightful dueling can be had.

Duel Links/Speed Duel players, original Duel Monsters anime fans and general newbies beware! Due to the ginormous pool of cards and still incomplete ranking system, with TCG sharks that overwhelm and devour in a single turn, you'll require patience in large quantity, the will to learn and improve and a reasonable tolerance for failure.

A literally broken, defective piece of downloadable content that cannot be accessed via normal means. It simply will not work unless one is willing to juggle and mess around with other DLCs, disabling them one after another.
Forfeit another DLC which you have paid for to potentially get this one working... how deliciously absurd...

A phenomenal RPG with a plethora of unique and outstanding features such as:

-Highly detailed character creation system in which height and weight/body type play more than a cosmetic role; lighter characters can carry less equipment but they also run faster and their stamina replenishes more quickly, while those heavier have more stamina and are harder to knock down and stagger.

-Powerful Magicks that take time to cast and have visually impressive effects (i.e. a dark maelstrom that mercilessly pulls helpless enemies and mangles them, with unlucky survivors being finished by fall famage); moreover, a group of advanced spellcasters can 'spell sync' in order to expedite the casting time.

-Many options to traverse and explore the open world of Gransys. There is pronounced terrain verticality, with momentum-boosted jumping and urban parkour-ing. Roguish vocations even have access to double jumping while spellcasters can levitate for a short time.

-Frequent encounters with enemies both small and massive. Smaller humanoid enemies can be grappled by martial vocations for the other party members to finish off, and when staggered and knocked down they can be picked up and thrown off cliffs! Menacing, colossal enemies can be climbed in order to reach and exploit their weak spots. Also, dousing opponents in water will make them susceptible to lightning attacks and magicks, also making them easier to freeze. They can also be tarred with oil, making fire attacks against them devastating.

Incredibly fun, surprisingly deep and highly recommended.

A positively delicious YGO experience though speed dueling format that the game uses won't appeal to everyone. Duel Links features a decent number of fully-voiced playable characters with their own dueling skills to acquire and equip. Being a F2P title it is surprisingly generous and "lenient" to non-paying players.

A game whose consummate dialogues and strong atmosphere haunt me to this day. Since 2004 nothing has come even close to VtMB in this regard.

An immensely enjoyable, moderately challenging metroidvania infused with numerous Dark Souls bits. While character design won't appeal to everyone, the dark, dreary locales are truly outstanding. Packed all to the brim, S&S features 20+ intricately interconnected areas to explore, just as many intense boss fights, 16 categories of equippable weapons, varied melee moves and combos, gratifying number of armor sets, seven joinable factions/covenants and a baleful bestiarium that will always keep one on his toes. My personal GOTY2016.
