An absolute trip of a game. It definitely isn't for the faint of heart, as it deals with some pretty heavy issues, but if you're ready for that then I recommend it! The ending I got caught me off guard, no idea what exactly I got but I think it dealt with the themes it was presenting pretty well. Trying my best to not spoil it though, as this is best experienced blind. I thought the conclusion I got was very bittersweet, as it required a lot of tough decisions but ultimately it led to a great end.
The one thing I will say though is that if you're even moderately decent at putting together details, you'll see the plot twist coming from a mile away. Despite this, there are details along the way that really give you the full picture to the point where, even if you can see the end coming, it is still enjoyable to play it through to that point.

Early Access Review
The game just came out today. Everyone else posting reviews has maybe 4 hours max. I, on the other hand, have no life.
Fantastic game. If you're a fan of games like Goat Simulator then this is for you. Endless ways to ♥♥♥♥ around. I genuinely spent 9 hours today just messing around and seeing what I could do. I've softlocked myself in multiple ways, multiple times. I've exploded the entirety of the campus numerous times. You can make a ♥♥♥♥ ton of super potions by using a crystal ball and blue gimble weed. Take those and duplicate them multiple times. Suddenly, I am Sonic.
Honestly this is the best "♥♥♥♥ around" game I've played in a while. 10/10, no notes, cannot wait for more.

Funny as hell game so far. Reminds me a bit of Goat Simulator, but there is magic and the people don't hate you right off the bat.
Started off by picking up a torch and setting everyone I talked to on fire. Couldn't figure out why until I set *myself* on fire. I wasted all but one of the days dying in stupid ways.
- Tried to landmine the girl with the magic object to steal it but accidentally killed myself in the process.
- Put the jumping pad under the frog girl and she immediately died, the box went flying and killed me.
- Fell off the roof and died.
- Fired a spell at the dude running around the courtyard on accident and got smited by another dude.
- Went straight into a trap.
Finally managed to not die immediately and made myself an invisibility potion and proceeded to break into everything and kill multiple people. Had a hat so I wasn't completely invisible but combine that with the broken bones potion and you get a spinning hat on the floor firing magic so I completely understand the panic the students had.

10/10 can't wait to see what else this offers when the full game comes out.

I am completely and utterly biased: I had the original as a kid and practically grew up on it, I played it so many times. Seeing it completely redone graphics and gameplay-wise has made me extremely happy. It's such an incredible upgrade from what the game started out as. I was tearing up during the end credits just looking at all the concept art and the people who came together to make this game better than it was when it first came out.

The graphics and set design are absolutely spectacular. There are some levels that get a big redesign and it adds so much personality to the game. I also love the change in lighting. The parts that are Paint are very bright and it contrasts so well compared to the parts that are "thinned." It really conveys the feeling of you exploring a half-demolished theme park that is past its prime.

I didn't come across too many bugs, but there were some that are notable enough to mention here:
- Tiki Sam has a quest where you have to find his Tiki masks. I found his masks. I returned them to him. He proceeded to ask me again to get his masks and then gave me the silent treatment until I went to Skull Island and came back. Guess he didn't like being told that I can't get him more Tiki masks?
- The debris from things you break can actually block your Paint or Thinner stream. This is such a minor nitpick but as someone who loves to dash around, break things, and then immediately paint or thin things, I often got caught on these debris.
- In the final castle area of the game, a part didn't load, leaving only a window far off in the distance with no floor or anything else. I understand the Blot wants to demolish me but cmon bro you didn't need to disappear the whole castle- (thankfully the fix for this was easy, just had to backtrack a bit and get the shy part of the castle to load in)

Other than that, I've had an absolutely fantastic time playing this game, getting nostalgic for the past, and enjoying all of the things that the present version has to offer. I am absolutely going to be dumping too much time into this game to collect everything and get all the achievements.
