Cannot recommend enough; I don't do Steam reviews, but felt I had to for this game.

I have been absolutely absorbed by this game; the puzzles are incredibly well done, rewarding not only logic and lateral thinking but also your observations (small and large) throughout your traversing the world. The art and sound design is beautiful, allowing the puzzles to be readable and stand out while also giving the game a beautiful charm.

If you want an ~8hr game that you have to talk to everyone you meet about for the next couple of weeks, then this is the game for you.

Also, thank you devs for putting in a "highlight interactable things" button. Why doesn't every point-and-click have that!?

The last review I wrote was 9 years ago, and I'm breaking my unofficial vow of review-silence to add to the Overwhelmingly Positive noise - this is a game not to be missed.

The card game is just complex enough to be deep, without being needlessly complicated and hard to learn.

The puzzles are approachable and intuitive enough that you don't need a guide, but you still feel like a Mensa member when you figure them out.

The story is spooky enough to give me chills, and intriguing enough to keep playing (even if the card game wasn't good - which it is), without being too horrible for my pathetic self or too much forced exposition.

I thought I'd beaten the game... but I hadn't.

PLAY THIS GAME, NOW - AND DO NOT GOOGLE IT.
