As of right now, the game is simply not optimized, and not complete enough to be considered playable. I am still very excited for this game to eventually become something I can enjoy, the graphics improvements, vehicle assembly changes, and promises of more content like multiplayer, and more systems to explore are all things I want to try out someday. That being said, the 'game' in its current state is barely that. My PC with a 3070 is barely able to handle 5 fps during launch with a multistage vehicle. The available parts list is extremely bare bones, and at this point is close to how KSP 1 was when it was in its earlier stages. While I do love the direction this seems to be headed, the 50 dollar price tag for what seems to be barely more than a demo is not worth it to me. I will likely be requesting a refund for this game, and will spend it on the dlc for KSP 1 to itch my desire to play right now, but as for KSP 2, see you in a couple years!

Perhaps the best free game on the steam store, and in my opinion the greatest star trek game of all time. There isn't anything like this where you fly your star trek ships around and level them up and build your ships using components and wasting all of your time like any MMO but for a star trek fan, that grinding time is well worth it. There isn't any other game I've played so much and I'd recommend anyone at least try it, for a free game, there's so much free content.
