It took 20 years, but Torment has now been surpassed in every single area. Disco Elysium is the new measure by which all RPG writing will be judged and found lacking.

This is one of the very few times where the writing of a game gets you. Utterly, completely, gets you. The economy of the writing, the way it instantly sparks up a dozen conversations with different parts of your psyche, has been realized in incredibly good taste.
