Tonguc Bodur's "Run Tekila Run!" asks a profound question: what happens when your sheep-counting meditation goes awry and one woolly rebel decides to stage a zombie apocalypse? The answer, it turns out, is a delightfully chaotic top-down action-adventure that's as addictive as it is absurd.

You step into the dream-shoes of a druid-like figure, summoned by the sleep-deprived Dua, who's lost her favorite counting sheep, Tekila. Forget peaceful slumber; you're now wading through hordes of shambling, groaning zombies in a quest to rescue a runaway ovine.

The game's "Diablo-esque" graphics are surprisingly gorgeous, painting a dark and atmospheric world that's both beautiful and unsettling. But don't let the visual polish fool you; this game is pure, unadulterated silliness. The simple, catchy music loop will burrow into your brain like a zombie craving fresh… well, you get the idea.

And then there's the narrator. Oh, the narrator. This disembodied voice delivers deadpan commentary and absurd observations with the comedic timing of a seasoned stand-up. Every zombie horde, every frantic dash, is accompanied by a witty quip that somehow manages to be both hilarious and strangely insightful.

"Run Tekila Run!" is a perfect blend of action and absurdity. The local co-op means you can bring a friend along for the chaotic sheep-saving adventure, and the game's surprisingly deep combat system keeps things engaging. It's like Diablo decided to take a hallucinogenic trip to a farm, and we're all invited.

If you're looking for a game that will make you laugh while you hack and slash your way through hordes of the undead, "Run Tekila Run!" is your sheep-shaped salvation. Just remember to keep your counting sheep close, or you might end up with a zombie-filled nightmare of your own.

Four out of five slumber-inducing sheep recommend Run Tekila Run!

First of all, you needn't have played Dungeons & Dragons to enjoy BG3. With all the choices you're presented, it's impossible to have the same game every playthrough. What if I answered another way? What if my party helped this guy instead of that guy? What's this button do? ... Never played a game with so much replay potential. The voice acting, music, and most of all storytelling in BG3 is phenomenal. There's a reason it swept game awards in 2023. With friends or solo, it's a blast.

Had to give this a second chance after thinking I'd run around like in a diablo-like game. One thing I'd like to say is if you expected the game to be mechanically similar to hack & slash, it won't be like that. But don't let it deter you! The turn-based mechanics become more comfortable as you get into it. If you gave up because of this I'd encourage you to have another go at it.

Early Access Review
Went into V Rising thinking it might be like Diablo and, aside from the dark ambiance and isometric graphics, it is not similar. HOWEVER, after playing for a few hours with a friend, I can wholeheartedly recommend this game. We had a blast exploring, hunting and building. It's a lot of fun for solo play - building magnificent castles and exploring.

When a friend recently introduced me to Realm of the Mad God, its active community and constant updates were a pleasant surprise. Realm has been a favourite of his for many years, and after creating a character and playing a little while I certainly see why! Don't let its retro style fool you, This is a game you (and your friends) really have to try!

An unexpected ending. Very slow paced and thoughtful. Each segment gives itself time to breathe and be considered.

Get a group of friends and play this game. Campy and goofy, Earth Defense Force is the most fun you can have with your pants on.

Fun solo or with a friend. Engaging and humorous story-line and intuitive interface. The art style is nice, and the music suits each environment. You'll enjoy the characters and the voice acting as well. Only issue I had was during online multiplayer mode where as you finish an area the game freezes. I believe they're working on that, as the dev has requested log files from affected players on their Discord server. I do highly recommend the game, however if you plan on playing online with friends you may want to check first to verify they've sorted out the glitches.

This is an easy 10/10 for me. As a lover of humorous 90s point and click games, Doc Apocalypse checked every box. Even included my favourite character from the TV show "Fringe," Dr. Walter Bishop (aka Denethor from LotR). Lots of pop references, great voice acting, and an unexpected ending. It's a dollar, so you don't even have to wait for it to go on sale.

Adios is a laid back linear story. Pleasant voice acting. Multiple choices for dialogue and chapter select after completed game allows for easy achievement completion and selective replay for more story. I'd say it can be mildly unsettling for sensitive folk, but it isn't gory. Nice art style. Moves a bit slow, and I wouldn't advise doing so but you can skip conversation by pressing X. Overall I'd give it a 7/10 since as a walking simulator you're relatively limited in where you can roam.

Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful walking sim. Enjoyed an hour-long meditative walk through a snowy forest. Well done, Mr. Bodur.
