A free push-block puzzle game that oozes style and character, tied neatly with a rocking soundtrack. Certainly worth the hour or two.
Plus, there's a pancake recipe.

Superliminal presents a new set of challenges based around those perspective optical illusions you see on the internet. Though a little on short side, the puzzles and achievements on offer do provide enough variety to make this pond worth dipping your toe into.

An excellent revisit to the Advance Wars-style gameplay.

Solid presentation and a serviceable plot full of entertaining characters.
Units and CO powers are varied, and easily compliment each other for multiple types of strategies.

Early Access Review
An incredibly fun and energetic rhythm game that literally anyone can approach and play.
Set this up at a party with VR veterans, VR newbies, gamers, non-gamers, anyone you can think of and get ready to have an incredible night.

Speaking of VR newbies: this game is one of the best VR titles on the market for players who have never been in VR at.

The game does have a limited default list of songs, but these are iterated across three game modes and multiple difficulties; there's more default content than it looks, but still not a whole lot.
A new default song has been added to the title in an update in the past, so the developers have shown they are willing to add more in the future.

In addition to that is an endless amount of user-generated content.
An official level editor is reportedly being worked on but still unreleased. Until then, dedicated modders have made easily-available packages of custom songs and their own level editor.

A time capsule experience to the 1990's; Fox n Forest is a competent and entertaining 2D platformer following in the footsteps of Mega Man X, Super Metroid, Castlevania IV, and others. This vanilla experience is full of classic design.

Steam Controller: Default configuration activates the action on soft and hard pulls for LT and RT. Change this so that the action runs once on a pull instead. Otherwise, default configuration works great.

A simple but very engaging platformer that explores the personalities of colored shapes and their relationships through classic level design and perfect narration. These quadrilaterals have more character than most in the indistry!

This brief experience is certainly shows that less is certainly more.
Play this game.

A charming farming and management game where your patrons are one of cutest and simple beings in existance.
Some repetitive gameplay does set in mid-to-late game, but that does not over-shadow the sheer glee of being a mad slime geneticist and entrepreneur.

A fantastically fun and chaotic cooking game. With friends!

Overcooked has simple-to-learn controls and mechanics makes it easy to introduce new players into your kitchen; the trick is to work together to orders done quickly.

Levels come in the form of different kitchens throughout the game's campaign, versus mode, and additional DLC.
With 30+ kitchens, each have their own layout, menu, ingredients, and hazards that must be navigated through, and each kitchen can be played solo or cooperatively.

This game was designed with co-op in mind at it's core. It currently only supports local co-op, so invite some friends over and have a ball.

Keyboard and game pads are supported, but game pads are recommended (we used PS4 and X360 controllers). The game has a "split-control" option that puts full control of two characters on one controller, effectively cutting the number of controls required in half.

In terms of single player, there isn't much to offer; you switch controls between two characters while still performing the same number of tasks as a team of chefs. Game time is slowed in this mode to give some wiggle room, but things get overwhelming quickly.
Still enjoyable if you're looking for the challenge.

(As an additional challenge, use the split-control option to map a second whole character to your controller, then control two chefs in real time.)

Having played (and still playing) many hours with friends in two, three, and four player configurations, this is an easy title to recommend.

Not just 2D Minecraft, but an ever-changing game that challenges you as you explore, build, and survive.

Good luck trying to find everything this game has, as your play time increases into the triple digits.
