if you have a largely successful game with a huge community and you need it to crash and burn as fast as possible, do what this game's devs are doing right now and it should work pretty effectively

Giving this unrecommended since they decided to pull their game off of Steam and move it to the Epic Store in 2020 for no reason. It's a good game, still.

Rocket League is basically a game of (American) Soccer, but with cars. It's fun.

This game feels better with a controller than with a keyboard and mouse, so if you want to support this game and don't want to support Epic (which is understandable) just buy it on XBox One, PS4, or Switch. Besides, XBox and PS4 have keyboard and mouse accesories so you can still do that if you want.

You buy a lemon stand. And then in the next month you've already bought planet earth and set up colonies on both the moon and on Mars. I approve.

So, a few months ago I changed my review to negative (I think I just like, really hated the game at the time for some reason), but I came back to it after a while and it's actually really good.

One of my complaints in the negative review was that updates took really long to make, but since then it seems like the devs have been working on the game way faster than before; from April to September, the Arcade has come out, Accelerate (a racing game similar to Mario Kart) was added, workshop support for uploading Condo saves was added (not even a month ago), as well as the devs are currently working on co-op Condo building which is going to be in the game's next update, as well as a ton of slightly smaller things like new maps/improvements to existing ones.

Also for the game itself, the Game Worlds are all very well polished (the server quality is a bit iffy though since it's P2P), Condos are very fun to build if you're into that sort of thing, and the Plaza is filled with things to play, though there's still a couple of things yet to be added to it.

TL;DR: game good
