I've been waiting years for this and it's the game of my dreams!

The very beginning of the game made me put it off for years. Something about it made me expect a poorly made game. Now I want to go back and slap some sense into my past self. I'm 12 hours into the game and loving it. If you are a fan of newer metroidvanias, do yourself a favor and check it out. If I can make one suggestion, if you are playing with a controller, change your controller mapping to "Bumper-Jumper." It allows you to keep your right thumb on the stick 90% of the time.

This is a great game. The music, the atmosphere, and the combat system are all great. Using your third eye to see and hit weak spots is just so satisfying.

Prince of Persia The Lost Crown does a fantastic job transitioning into a metroidvania. Exploration reveals areas naturally. The game doesn't make you feel at a loss about what to do next. There's also no need to grind to get for money or strength. If you do go to an area that seems brutally tough, you can visit somewhere else or use your skills to get by. Additionally, none of the skills in the game feel useless. So by the end of the game, you look like a badass using all of your skills to put down tough enemies. I'm 30 hours in and only about halfway through the game's completion percentage (I'm probably closer to the end since I'm sure that's counting all collectables).

Early Access Review
This has been in early access forever. The latest update added a lot to the game. As a fan of the two original Thief games, I can wholeheartedly suggest this game. The AI is on par with Thief's though, so expect a lot of "must be the wind" moments from enemies.

This game, at the outset, seems very superficial and needlessly difficult. If you feel that way, I recommend you stick with it until you start understanding the rhythm of different enemies. You also get a nice variety of weapons and side weapons in the very first area to fit your play style. In fact, you get four different loadouts to customize and choose from. They've done something great with this that I haven't seen any other "souls like" game do before. For each loadout, you get to also choose how your levels are distributed to your stats. This way you swap into a strength build when you choose your giant hammer or your stat points move over to dexterity when you equip your dagger loadout.

The levels have different difficulties and Hard/Nightmare levels are no joke. Truly a great logic game.

This game made me love turn-based tactical games again. It's full of fun and charm with solid gameplay. It just feels extremely polished.

This is a funny little short game that is a good way to financially support Strange Scaffold. Don't buy it expecting anything more than a short story that is moved along by you clicking a little counter.

This game reminds me a lot of Sekiro while having a lot of unique mechanics of its own. People are really divided on this game, but I really enjoy it. I spent the beginning getting beat up until I learned the rhythm of the game. It's really worth it, in my opinion.
