Early Access Review
I'm way too bad for this game, but with a group of friend it's fun anyway.
You need communication! No lone-wolfing ;).
Very atmospheric, intense gameplay. Much potential ahead, a fairly friendly community and active developers.
Early access done right so far.

In my opinion for now, it is lacking a slight bit in weapon variety, especially in the meele-section since all meeles (4) are very similar looking sledgehammers and the ranged weapons only differ in either useless or good (imo). But there is potential!
The weapons themself look very cool and detailed, as the rest of the game aswell.

I'm just wondering, since they highly promote the game as a coop-game along the lines of "you need a squad to be successful",
why isn't there a 4-Pack available? (Maybe due to beeing early access?)

Anyway - already alot of fun with friends, demanding, atmospheric and tough!

*EDIT / ADDITION*
After some hours ingame and a couple of updates I want to add another, more negative, point to my review. The lack of any progression system diminishes my enthusiasm about playing GTFO over and over again. Yes, you can progress further downwards in the rundown..but you get nothing from completing or winning anything.

Solid VR-Coop Experience, but for a hefty price.

Arizona Sunshine is a well done coop experience which is fun to play with friends.
At first you feel pretty save, because you have weapons and fight zmbies in broad daylight, but this save feeling switches quickly once you enter the mines - beeing dependent on your flashlight. The sound and atmosphere is pretty immersive

Shooting and weapon handling feels decent/good and the game runs well, while looking fairly good, even on an Oculus Quest with (Beta)Link-Connection.

However I think 40€ for the basegame (not including dlcs) is a brick and I would highly recommend waiting for a discount (50% at least).
First of, because there are better experiences out there (with similliar pricing) with better graphics and storytelling
and second, because Arizona Sunshine does have some flaws.

The voice acting is kind of stupid, at least in the main campagne it's packed with weird one-liners trying to be funny but failing at it miserably - especially the german voiced version is unbearable due to a very boring/bored and unemotional voiceactor, and I really mean it. Its bad!

Second main flaw that I came across is the non-synced game status. Mainly , only the host is getting the progress and the checkpoints so the co-op partner would have to play through all levels again if he/she would play it on his/her own.
In addition to that, for the "Damned" DLC we didn't get any checkpoint at all, so after taking a break we could not start the DLC level at any other point than the beginning.

Also, the horde-modus is very plane and boring. Maybe someone could enjoy standing at one place and shooting zombies down over and over again.. but meh!

Besides that, I really enjoyed playing it so far :)
But again, not for $40(+) ;)

What fantastic game!
If you like the turn-based tactical rpg genre ( á la XCom) you will like this game.

The world is wonderful, very atmospheric and feels alive. Filled with details of a post apocalyptic world where nature claims everything that once was hers. I absolutely love the style and designs of the characters and the individual levels, some more forest(y), some more city-ruins.
I kind of felt some Simon Stålenhag (if you don't know his art, go check it please!) vibes in some levels due to the robots, the atmosphere and maybe also because the game has swedish roots.
The story is also told in a very immersive way by one of the main-characters while beeing visualized in some nicely rendered and/or some comic-esk cutscenes. Aswell as a well done english voiceover during the whole game.
There is even some humor in it, which for me was unexpected, but very fitting.

Gameplay wise, its everything you would expect from a turn-based tactical game, with some additions in unique character-bound skills to switch up the fights and give them some new turns.
I really liked the necessary switching between characters, upgrades (mutations) and weapons in order to win the fights on different locations.
Also there is looting and leveling (on a small scale) involved - so what else do you need ?
There is a kind of online-feature aswell, something like highscore-hunt ( idk, haven't tested it yet) Maybe it increases the replayability of the game - but even without I pumped easily 15 hours relaxed gameplay with exploring every nook and cranny of the levels and scooping up every piece of electronic garbage :)

All in all - a visually very pleasing game with fun game-mechanics and loot. Love it!

10/10

Probably known as one if not the best free to play games out there, Warframe is without any doubt a very worthy grind & loot shooter to spend a good amount of time on.
With my current 350 (or smth) hours that I pumped into the game I'm still most likely still on the low-tier regarding time spend in-game.

Despite my initial thoughts when I first started to play the game, this "boring grind loot shoot epilepsy something" called Warframe has a fairly nice story-line with great voice-acting, atmospheric levels, plots and a lore that is as deep as your m....

After some time it does get repetitive but nevertheless its really fun to grind through the levels, mow down waves and waves of enemies without them even stand a chance.
Its really interesting to see, that the majority of missions you do, it feels like nothing can harm you and you in your warframe are the one force that cannot be stopped, plowing through every enemy and not even leave widows behind - but once you get deeper into the game and proceed further missions for higher gear you learn pretty quick that a good mod-equipment and a skilled team on your side CAN be very helpful.

If you are just looking for the simple shoot'n loot grind, you can have that to.
Finding the right relics to get he new warframe or weapon parts you want to build, trying stupid combinations of mods or even farming random prime parts just to sell them to other players for platinum in order to buy yourself a fancy cosmetic item its simply fun and somewhat relaxing.

Besides story-line and grinding there is also enough stuff to do. Alot of fractions with standing and rewards, pvp, typical mmorpg-like handcraft "jobs" like fishing or mining and creating your own weapon or pet. Everything you can spend hours and hours in

And I'm just talking from a non-money-paying position. Thanks to the great economy-system DE implemented in Warframe ( and that's also a part of what they are known for) you can get anything in-game without paying a single penny. All warframes and weapons are achievable within the game and things you need to buy (i.E. special cosmetics) you can earn by trading almost anything to other players who are willing to pay you in platinum, which is the real-money currency. Somehow I feel its a strange system, but it works... and it works fantastic

Not really game-related but still worth mentioning is the community.
The players themselfs and the developer seem to be a very friendly and helpfull pack of people.
It does not matter if you're simply asking a question in the in-game chat or taking part in one of the fairly frequent dev-streams, somehow you fell welcomed and as a part of a great community.

In conclusion:
Would I recommend Warframe? - YES, I mean, it's free, whats the worst that can happen.
Would I recommend Warframe to more casual players? - Slightly less yes, but still yes!
Would you yes? - YES!

Actually a fun, cool looking puzzle game.
At first I was just hooked by the artstyle of the game, because it looked fairly unique. After starting it up the somewhat dark, mysterious and a bit claustrophobic space-atmosphere pulled me in. I really liked it.
Followed by the first pretty easy puzzles I thought, this is gonna be a quick one, but I was wrong. Some of the puzzle really need some good thinking and timing which makes them a bit more demanding than I initially expected. Big up!

The only bad thing that came across my mind are the achievments ( this is pretty specific and it does not really influence my position towards the game itself - but still, I wanted to mention it).

## POTENTIAL SPOILER ##
Personally I think the achievments are UNREACHABLE without looking them up 100%. The hidden rooms are so well hidden that you cannot stumble across them out of luck or by chance. And since the achievments on steam themself do not tell you anything aswell, nobody gets any clue to look out for.
## END SPOILER ##

And in addition to this, if you finished the game once ( collected all 124 Orbs and activate the last console thingy) - there is a point of no return where you cannot replay any level to hunt the achievment without restarting the whole game (and overwrite your progress)

All in all, as I said, this does not influence my opinion of the game - It's still a beautifull unique styled puzzle game with a good few hours of fun, ponder and despair :)

Fun little and somehow addictive dexterity game. Initially I thought it's just gonna be another "hey look at me I'm just a stupid game and everybody thinks its funny to upvote" kind of game. But the makers obviously had more in mind and fun by doing it. It has extras, hidden secrets, progress and more fun "kind of stupid" features.

Soundtrack is also very catchy. 69 cents.. duh! nobrainer :D!

Fun game with superb soundtrack/ambient and nice visuals.

If you are into dystopia-bladerunner-esk storys and ambient this will be something for you.
Ok-the story is kind of a "nice to have" thing which doesnt matter (Imho) but the game itself is fun.
With the driving music, fast-paced combats and epileptic-visuals I didnt have one bored minute in here.

The game also has a quite demanding level of difficulty especially if you want to get the achievments ;) Have fun trying.

Nette Grafik, teilweise schöne Welten, simples Gameplay.
