Fantastic somewhat arcade-y golf game.

There are however some issues, parts of the UI get cropped out at 4K, especially the settings screen, it's still navigable but only just about. Sometimes, depending on who hosts, the game also loads indefinitely and gets a memory leak when trying to join someone else's game.

Edit:
The interface issue was fixed within hours of posting this review, absolutely fantastic support by the developer! (Have not had the opportunity to test whether the memory leak is fixed yet).

it's good

shame about the server issues, but the devs do seem to genuinely do what they can about it and have handled it rather well from what i can tell

This game is absolutely fantastic. I played for roughly 70h during flight 2 & 3 and while they were enjoyable I experienced quite a lot of issues such as very frequent crashes but I've had none of that in the final release. No crashes or major bugs, the only bugs I have really encountered were one time were I couldn't get into campaign missions (just had to restart to fix it). The other one was that when doing my solo legendary campaign playthrough I had to do two of the missions twice since the first times didn't register which was, needless to say, quite frustrating, but I think it might something related to my PC since it does do weird things at times and those 2 "non-registered missions" were in combination with these.

The port overall has been really good (at least for me) playing @ 144hz without any issues with uncapped framerate and it seems to be fine, I have no issue with the mouse personally and I've had no issues getting flickshots on SWAT. I am quite a big fan of the current unlocking system and, if something, the progression is perhaps a bit too quick. But even then there are 700(!) achievements to go for after that, even though a lot of those are bound to the other Halo games not yet released on PC.

Overall it's a fantastic release and I can't wait for the other Halos to come out for PC, totally worth a buy no matter if you just buy Reach or the whole package.

CS:GO Review
CS:GO is in my honest opinion the greatest ever competitive shooter, I might be a bit biased with my ~1.4k h but it just has a flawless balance between individual skill (both aim and strategy) and teamwork. Most weapons have at least some use, while some may have more limited use (e.g. the negev) it feels like you see the majority of weapons at least at some point in the game, even at a pro level when watching majors. The majority of maps in this game have roots going way back and they have been perfected over multiple years and they all have their own feel, both visually and layout wise. The ranking system may not be perfect but honestly I find that it's good enough most of the time, especially with the addition of trust factor which has really improved the MM experience at least for me personally.

The game obviously has its flaws though, there are quite a bit of hackers, I have luckily never met an obvious rage hacker in my ~1k competitive matches but I'm sure there have been multiple people with more sneaky hacks such as WH. The community also isn't the greatest, don't get me wrong I've met tons of great people in this game but I've also met a ton of people that are just awful to play with, and if you want to enjoy this game to the fullest you really do need friends to play with in my opinion. Valve also aren't the fastest at releasing updates, most of the time the updates are good and balanced (with a few exceptions such as the initial R8 and a few smoke bugs that have happened) but there really could be more of them, it being such a big game it really feels like they could have more people working on it.

A fun little goofy ice hockey game. At the moment it's not the most serious thing and pretty much everyone (including myself) is pretty ♥♥♥♥ at it but I could see it becoming a pretty good competitive team if you spend some more time at it.

It's not flawless however, the servers are still not perfect (although they are a lot, lot better now!) the party system is rather clunky to use. I think it might also be a good idea to just make the puck and nothing else have a hitbox to the stick since you at the moment often awkwardly just push both other people and yourself around. Considering it's such a new game I hope the developers can fix these issues however, and if they do I think it could become quite a great game!

Update 2019-03-16:
The "everyone spawns in each other" bug has been fixed and the servers are a lot better. Based on the road map there seems to be quite a lot of interesting stuff in the works so the devs are doing a great job at the moment!

Now that more people have started to get used to the controls I've had some really interesting great games with tons of good passes and assists, could see this becoming a great teamwork game. Really hope more people will give this great little gem a try and excited to see what the future will bring!

Note: I am not the most hardcore simracer (not even playing with a wheel), however I have played quite a few rally games so I am not completely inexperienced.

I got the original DiRT Rally just a week or so after the Early Access release, and while I didn't play for as much as some people I still put ~70h into the game and enjoyed it a lot. This game to me feels like an improvement over the first game in almost all categories. The cars feel even better than they have ever done before and the graphics are the best they've ever been in a DiRT game. The different locations all feel different and look great with their own style.

It has its flaws though, the forced online in career mode while their justification for it makes sense feels like something they should try to get rid off, I haven't had any issues personally but it is a shame that you have to rely on their servers to enjoy the game fully. For some reason ~60-70% of events in career mode are either in wet conditions, night or even both which feels quite extreme, from what I have heard this is however something codemasters are looking into however. The lack of a snow location is a shame although it seems like they are adding Sweden in a DLC which would fix this. Some of the historic cars also sadly miss their iconic liveries, for example none of the Lancias have their iconic Martini livery which is a big shame. I have also had the audio cut out 3-4 times but other than that it has been a pretty bug-free experience.

Overall the game simply feels like an improved DiRT Rally and if you enjoyed the first one you'll probably enjoy this as well, it does however lack some locations and if you're on the fence you might want to wait for a sale and some of the DLC to come out.

Played for roughly 200h when writing this and because of all the review bombing I thougnt I'd share my opinion on the game.

This game has it's flaws, it has bugs and killers are still weak against good survivors. A lot of perks are really strong and a lot are pretty much useless. A lot of people are toxic (both killers and survivors), killers face camping, survivors DCing etc. But even with all it's flaws it is a great fun game. It can be frustrating at times but it's still some of the best money I've spent on a game and on sale it's great value, hell even at full price. The devs also seem to finally move in the right direction when it comes to updates so I think the future will be bright.

About the 2.1.0 patch:
For reference I'm something like a 60/40 killer/survivor, so no I don't just say this from a killer POV. The majority of people who complains about the patch are either new survivors or survivors who play simply to bully the killers. I agree that a few of the buffs and nerfs aren't great but most of them are and overall the game is a lot more unbalanced. At low ranks killers are generally stronger and easier to play but the further up you go through the ranks the easier it will be as a survivor.

Played it for a few hours back in 2015 but kind of forgot about it, got back into it again now in 2018 and I'm loving it. The devs have sadly made some questionable changes and aren't great at balancing merks or at fixing bugs. The playerbase isn't massive but you shouldn't have a problem finding a lobby, at least not if you live in NA or Europe. Contrary to what many newbies believe it really isn't pay to win, the default mercs are fine and won't hold you back and you can get every merc and loadout by just playing the game. Even with its flaws I believe it is a great fun game and it is free so no reason not to try it, worst case scenario you've wasted a bit of time but you might just love it just like me.

Brilliant game to chill out with while listening to some music. Graphics are alright, the trucks are pretty detailed and it should be pretty easy to run. Plays best with a wheel or at least a controller. I would recommend buying the DLC if you enjoy the game as they add some more interesting cargo and locations.
