I never played Final Fantasy VII when it first came out, but I am damn glad I grabbed it now. Crazy fun game, even with the older graphics. If you hate the graphics, there are mods you can download to make everything look nicer. I haven't tried them, but I know they are out there.

Yes, you have to make a Square Enix login. Yes, it only shows the keyboard controls when you start it. Really, those are the only annoyances I have seen with this game. It runs for me perfectly, using an Xbox Official Controller for PC. You just have to play with the buttons to figure out which one does what.

Really, the game is just plain fun! If you love Final Fantasy games, this is a must have. It's known as one of the favorite Final Fantasy games, and I can tell that it's with good reason. Not my favorite, but it's definitely fun as hell and has a very cool story so far (I think I am halfway through).

9/10 (Lost a point for forcing me to make a login, even though I only have to type in the information the first time.)

I tried to give this game a chance, but I just couldn't stand it anymore after only 26 minutes of play time. My first impression was that it was a little like Diablo (click for movement, open-ish area to explore).

But the battle mechanics are just silly. During a battle, you pause the game, select your abilities, and then unpause to sit back and watch. I much prefer a game with more active battles, where I get to really use the abilties in the moment (Diablo III comes to mind, obviously).

The camera is also a bit clunky, and movement gets annoying when the camera isn't really listening to you.

I wouldn't recommend this game, unless you're into the whole "pause > select abilities > watch the battle" thing.

Pretty easy to know this one is amazing! I've only played a few hours, and only played as Iron Man, The Hulk, Spiderman, Mr. Fantastic, Captain America, Hawkeye, and Black Widow. SO MUCH FUN! Great puzzles that make you use every character.

I love the fact that we get to fly around NYC! The little quests in NYC are really fun, and help you explore the city. As far as I can tell, there are tons of puzzles in the levels and in the hub worlds. Definitely excited to play more!

10/10 SO. MUCH. FUN.

Edit 01/19/2017: After having played LEGO Marvel Avengers, I HIGHLY recommend this one over Avengers.

This game is great. At first, I wasn't sure I would like it because it seemed pretty easy. Oh man was I wrong! This game definitely gets challenging pretty quickly but is still loads of fun. Lots of cool easter eggs hidden in the game, which I love.

9 ... Quirky but good.

This game is wonderful! If you like LEGO games and The LEGO Movie, then you will not want to stop playing! The range of different skills for the playable characters is great, and the voice acting is awesome. Multiple hub locations, hacking (SPACESHIP!), lasers, climing around on buildings...all while still being that good 'ole LEGO game you know and love.

I would highly recommend this game to anyone, especially those who love LEGO games.

10/10 EVERYTHING IS AWESOME!
