Looks like ♥♥♥♥, runs like ♥♥♥♥. Truly a technological marvel.

The production value is amazing, lots of different mob types and maps keep the game very entertaining for hours. Visually that is. Because from a mechanical point of view POE2 is garbage.

Starting with the "crafting" system that is basically lottery slamming exalts into decent bases, with zero ways of target farming uniques (let alone that 99% of uniques are utterly useless), with ascendancies gated behind absultely awful trials and so many balance issues. I have a SSF level 83 monk able to reliably farm tier 15 bosses and I am yet to find a 5 or 6 link orb. It's quite amazing GGG have managed to make basic build enabling mechanics even worse than in POE1.

Pick up goblin. Throw at other goblin.

The best hack'n'slash since Diablo 2. POE is up there as well, of course, but LE manages to make gearing a lot of fun without having lottery roulette baked in.

If you ever wanted to get into fighting games, this game is it. I am absolutely blown away by it.

They slowed down the combat by a few frames making everything feel meatier and tactical. Drive impact is a brilliant new mechanic and the netcode and servers are great, meaning every game is just a joy. Visually it's also exceptional, the character design was already great but the fidelity is..well, you can see Cammy stretchmarks on her butt. :D I am slo having a great time doing the world tour.

Just buy the game, get your arcade stick and go searching for Strengh!

FOR THE EMPEROR!

This is a masterpiece of a remake. And it's not so much about the updated engine or the graphics but the way the developers have added exceptional content to the rushed parts of the game. Absolutely amazing!

I hope somebody will be able to do the same with System Shock 2 someday.

We really really need more games like this!

What a cloak and dagger adventure! Wondering the outdoors, every nook and cranny filled with something interesting to see and slowly getting drawn into a God's grand scheming.

I have played through this game many, many times and I somehow enjoy it more each time. There is simply no other game that does low level adventuring and a hero's coming of age story quite so well as Baldur's Gate.
