Awesome game. I remember playing this game when I was younger and it still feels awesome even today. For those wondering, I can't see any problems with the game running on Windows 10 or running on 1920*1080 resolution which is just great. Of course, because this game is so old you can play it on just about any modern computer or laptop. I look forward to seeing what this does for reviving the TA community and introducing new players to the genre! If you're looking for a trip down memory lane or are looking to get into RTS games, this might be the one for you.

I feel like the devs poured their hearts into this. Perhaps their way to hash out some old heartbreak was to put it into a video game...

I used to play this game regularly and decided to give it a break to see if the devs would fix the balance. The fact that Russian planes still one shot everything, USA planes bomb the ever living daylights out of the ground forces and that people still deliberately FLY INTO THE GROUND when they realise that a Spitfire is behind them and that they simply can't get away no matter what they do confirmed my greatest fears...

The balance is still totally ♥♥♥♥♥♥. Gaijin pls fix.

Someday, DayZ might finally get optimized and have decent framerates. However, I strongly doubt I will live to see the day. At least my great great grandchildren will be able to play this game.

One of, if not the best RTS games ever made. Despite its age, this game never loses its charm and replayable nature and has some pretty awesome graphics for a 2007 game! If you have a good machine (this game is pretty hard on your CPU when there are lots of units in play) and want to see giant Spiderbots tear through enemy defenses and tanks, buy this.

Also, check out FAF or Forged Alliance Forever. It offers a great multiplayer service for this game, far better than Steam's own. There are more maps, more mods and a much larger number of players to go head to head with.

10/10 - Love this game.

By far one of the best RTS games I've ever played. With stunning visuals, a wide variety of units and ships that can all be upgraded using the research tree and many different maps to play on, Sins of a Solar Empire: Rebellion gives an extremely enjoyable experience.

With regards to factions, no faction seems to have great advantage over the rest so this game is left entirely to skill...or simply how quickly you can spam huge armies. When you first start playing this game, there is a learning curve to understanding the economy but after you've figured that out, you're on the right tracks.

If you're looking for a new RTS to play around with, invest in Rebellion.
