Complete and utter waste of 88 gigabytes of data that would've been better served seeding My Name is Earl to 1 client. Seriously. It's just boring. Visibility is atrocious, gunplay is okay, it's just boring and a waste of time. Complete L for using your own launcher to download the game.

Only bought it for the DayZ Mod originally in 2012. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ am I glad I bought this game. Not only has it stood up to the time *cough* unable to run on any PC *cough*, I mean what? This game runs great!

On a more serious note, this game is a master piece. Hell, it's not even that realistic when we get down to the core mechanics, but damn I have around the same ammount of hours in CS and CS doesn't even give me the feel when I play this game. Not even counting the 2 years of uncounted hours I had on the mod before I made this steam account and re-bought ArmA. Not only is it great for modding, the campaign is fun! Ever wanted to be a US Marine defending freedom? Red Harvest is for you! Ever wanted to blow up a bunch of dirty non-belivers? Play Takistan Life, which requires NO mods to play, you only have to connect to the server. There are tonnes of helpful guides showing people how to create their own dedicated servers, and many many other great guides on the steam forums.

But most of all, the community is mostly accepting. I mean, we all play ArmA in the end for a massive open world with semi-realistic physics and the such, correct? God this game represents so much to me, this is the game the originally got me obsessed with PC gaming as a whole. Thank you Bohemia, and thank you to the countless modders and server owners that have served me numerous amounts of entertainment.
