Can get repetitive, but I'm still playing it, so they must be doing something good.

Ignore the playtime it says I have, was playing it offline on my Steam Deck over the holidays and it looks like the hours don't update. Should be around 10hrs.

One of my favourite games we used to play when younger. It's very different compared to similar games in the genre, and I hated it when I first played it. This is one of those games that you need to really put in some time and dedication before you start feeling it, but when you do, it's an experience like no other.

The instant kill thing is something that I think the game can do without; it basically borders cheating, and we quickly banned it during matches.

For those who only ever read the first couple of sentences in a review, I'll make this quick, THERE IS NO RALLY. That's right, they've removed rally from a game in the Dirt franchise.

Even after knowing all this I still bought it, thinking that they came up with a something that would make up for it. Nope - Dirt 5 is just a series of races where you start with a bunch of cars, they all speed away from you and the objective is to finish in front of all them. The cars keep up with your speed so race/lap times don't mean squat.

I've really tried to like this game, I really have, but after 6 hours if this nonesense I've finally thrown in the towel and written off the money I spent on this as a loss.

If you want a nice arcade racer with rubber-banding/catchup, then this is not a bad game; but if you're looking for a Dirt game, you will 100% hate this.

I haven't played multiplayer but if you're like me and a huge fan of CoD campaigns, this one is not to be missed. This one for me is up there for me with the likes of Black Ops 2 and MW 2 campaign. I can only assume that the bad reviews are for the multiplayer.

Awesome game, love it, but the tracks are nowhere near as good as the previous games.

It's has a few issues but it'a fairly entertaining.
