While everyone is raving about Diablo and Path of Exile i suggest giving this a go. It might not be the most special game ever made, but it is a solid action RPG which scratches an itch for a sensible price with a few nice ideas of its own.

thought it would be a good match for the ally, however as much as a simple shooter is what i was after the issues with clarity, screen mess and poor shooting have not aged well. It has a unique style at least.

Only just started but feel need to comment to help weight these reviews. For me personally the game has been running fine, enjoyable reliable bug smashing. Most certainly recommend, my only concern is the longevity but that is probably why good to get in now while it has a popularity surge.

Mechanics and general gameplay are all good, will be interesting to see how far they take this. The key will be in big ridiculous post launch content.

Lets be clear this is not a bad game, in fact you could even say it is ok or decent. Except it simply has no reason to exist in a world after 2016. As Doom 2016 does everything this does but better. The fact this game was released in 2020 just makes we wonder why did they bother?

Fans have for years been making mods for the original Doom and even new engines. This feels like that just with a bit more polish. Which brings me onto the newer Dooms which radically update the original concept. Of course it is unfair to compare it to Doom 2016 which had a ton more money backing it but as the end consumer you kinda have to compare this to it. And that is not a fight this game can possibly win.

Very few of these 'retro' throwback shooters have me actually having fun. Most of the time they are simply taking a design that is 25 years old and chucking a few new effects on when the original is still perfectly good. However this is different as it genuinely is a decent game in its own right and does things that simply were not possible back then. And i don't mean graphically the actually gameplay and design is evolved.

Get this is you enjoyed the 90s shooters but want something a bit more modern that has actually been brought up to date.

Whether i am saying the same thing after thousands of remains to be seen but after a dozen hours i can say this game is fun.

On the surface is a simple ARPG (think Path of Exile) but the more you progress the more its MMO roots show and it gets deeper. Alot deeper. So if you are like me and like MMOs and ARPGs then give this ago, it is free after all. I suspect it will be a massive grind later and countless microtransactions but if that only happens a hundred hours in then atleast get a good solid fun hundred hours before dropping it and that is no bad thing.

Yes it is another music based VR game and yes it has two colours, one for each hand. However with that being said the music is excellent and varied which really gets you immersed. Recommend for anyone that likes the sorts of beat saber but wish it was more music based and 'dancer' like where you need to flow with the music and not just wave some sticks around.

If you are reading this you have probably seen reviews, guides, news or maybe videos and they have mentioned how adorable Quill (the mouse) is. And simply put they are right. It also does not hurt that is an excellent little adventure/puzzle game in its own right,

As others have said if you enjoy Slay the Spire then you will enjoy this. Does not reinvent the wheel rather is another wheel that revolves correctly with a different tyre?!

You have probably heard about this game, its cars its football. With a surprisnly high skill sealing but dont let that put you off just means always room to improve.
