This is an awesome game!

I got this game a long time ago but a lack of a flight system kinda kept me back. The game can be difficult to control with a keyboard and mouse. Lately I finally got one with recommendation of some friends and the game has become infinitely more controllable. As a game it is very very good. It is detailed and engaging with plenty of missions to keep you busy. It does have VR support which successfully brings you into the game. There is also both PvP (open play) and PvE (open play/private group/solo) for ships so it would be a good idea to get some defenses and offensives setup in your ship. ;)

The only odd quirk I have isn't something that has to do with the game as so much as the way that the game integrates with a store. The store purchase links in the game link to the Elite Dangerous website. That website ends up using your steam wallet anyways for purchases.

There are also DLC bundles for items on Steam itself. The confusion for some it seems is those bundles don't seem to "give" the items as shown by the negative reviews on those entries.

For those bundles you get a CD Key and you must redeem them on the Elite Dangerous website. Once you do the items will show up almost instantly in game.

Overall if you like space exploration games or even simulation games this game should at least be considered.
