What Stardew did for Harvest Moon/Story of Seasons, I feel Coral Island does for Stardew. A gorgeous game with a true understanding of the genre, this is going to become a permanent staple I replay over and over, much like Stardew.

There's still some growing pains, but the dev team is responsive and committed. I am blown away by the variety of dialogue, animations, visuals, activities, and overall CARE. I also love the unique addition of the environmental spin, and how organic it feels to the setting. I get the best cozy vibes playing this, and I encourage anyone seeking either a cozy game or a farm sim that KNOWS what it means to play like the best of Harvest Moon to give this a shot.

Absolutely cozy in the best way. You can really feel the love the devs put into the flowers and presentation of the game. I lose myself in this for hours. It can be a bit jank, but honestly if you need something cozy and lovely to spend time in, this is it. There's no time pressures, the characters all are a delight, the soundscape is pleasant. Adore it and look forward to this developer's future work (and am thankful for their updates and patches!)

Snuck up on me but I think this may be one of my favorite games of all time. Clever, excellent depth, and all in a bite sized package. A machine that generates good feelings

I adore this game, it's just stressful enough but still somehow relaxing. Kind of like if I wanted very high stakes Power Wash Simulator. Each ship is a puzzle you are approaching and learning to strip it down as fast as possible (and not blow up). The story is compelling, the universe is interesting, the game is so smooth and pretty. I feel like it's been polished to a mirror shine, and the game absolutely achieves what it sets out to do.

When it comes out on consoles, I will probably buy it again there just cause I enjoy the feel/gratification of it so much.

Loved it! Had a slow escalation as you went along. The pace was very deliberate, but you get through the game pretty fast. Satisfying in many ways and worth a play through for anyone who likes a quieter game.
