My first review ever, and it's for.... House Flipper?

In all honesty, I wasn't expecting much from this game-- especially for me. As a lifelong player of games like The Sims, Animal Crossing, etc... I've always had trouble with the furnishing/design aspect of these games and never really felt like I had created something to truly be proud of. Then I purchased House Flipper during the Winter Sale and it felt like all my questions had answers!

While initially only playing the emailed jobs that you receive when you first start, I appreciated the guidelines that the game gives you-- while I still had creative input with things like furniture placement, I wasn't overwhelmed with all my options and decisions and could figure out the game without having to do absolutely everything. After several hours of burning through contracts and earning money, I purchased my first house for about 32k to flip without any guidelines or input from the game-- and it was SO PRETTY. While my profit was only about $5,000, I felt like I had a real grip on the game and did not doubt my abilities in creating rooms for the clients. My first night, after about five hours of playing the game straight-- I purchased the DLC and have not regretted it since! After 16 hours total on the game so far, my most recent creation was a house that I ultimately made a profit of roughly $34,000-- so that was all the validation I needed!

All in all, House Flipper is a great game for those who love the interior design aspects of the games I mentioned earlier, but most especially for those who enjoy those aspects but tend to struggle or get overwhelmed! This game introduces each tool periodically and provides tips and pointers for you along the way as well. It's incredibly easy to get sucked into and play for hours on end, with a seemingly never-ending list of contracts and a huge number of houses to purchase to flip on your own time; not to mention, the HGTV and Garden DLCs add crazy amounts of content, as well! In my opinion, it is worth every penny full price and I can't wait to see what the developers have in store for us next!
