Wake the dog up.

Well optimised, delivers on the classic dystopian corporation driven war economy and grim, metallic, mechanical atmosphere. Sound design is so good you actually acknowledge there is such a thing as sound design.

Here's to the future.

Early Access Review
Very pleasantly surprised with Terra Invicta. All the cues from Long War that you come to expect (depth of gameplay, content and polish) is shining through in Terra Invicta. The game itself is not typically in the genre I would enjoy, but somehow all the elements come together and have me absorbed. It may appear intimidating on its surface, but the joy of slowly progressing through learning the mechanics with the situation unfolding itself, you're never quite clear on how events may play out and becomes a truly satisfying and organic experience.

I'm glad I took the leap with this game, looking forward to it getting that small amount of additional polish it requires during early access and to see what Pavonis cooks up in the future.

Enabled a entire generation to stream and record, for free with less friction than the alternatives. So many people owe their careers and ability to share content due to one person's project.

Much respect.

The only Space Ninja experience around.

Probably the best free to play model that exists that I've encountered. Genuinely.

EVE Online is one of the most difficult to sum up experiences around, which is indicative of how unique and interesting it is. The only true way to know is to try it and you owe it to yourself to.

Advice:
-May sound intuitive, but the longer you play - the better it becomes and the more likely you are to enjoy.
-Convince some friends to join you on a trial/free account or link up with a corporation.
-Ask questions, read the help chat channels and learn from your mistakes.

Review Information
For clarity, I started playing end of 2006, so I have a fair amount of years played. The important points are:
-Single shard universe. (One server)
-Almost a fully player driven economy. (With a couple of exceptions)
-Player driven content. (Transport/hauling for players, player ran bank that offers interest, mercenary/protection contracts - to name a few)
-Real consequences for loss and opportunity for gain.
-Line between PvE and PvP is blurred and the balance shifts depending on where you are. You exist in a world where either is possible at all times, but there are inherently safer and more dangerous areas.
-Single platform for development and commitment to it - EVE Online began around 2003 has been in constant development ever since. Infrastructure, graphics and game features/content iterated on and expanded continually.
-Excellent communication between developers and community/players. (Dev Blogs, Fanfest, strong presence in-game and on forums, Player Council elected by players.)
-Soundtrack, atmosphere and world building really adds to the overall experience.

I'm interested to see where EVE Online will go in the future. I hope they continue to focus their efforts on developing a singular product and reap the rewards (for both player and company) of all the benefits that come with doing so.

Well crafted soundtrack that comes with a game to play while listening.

Everything explodes. Everything.
I've played this since the Kickstarter campaign, development moves at a steady pace for a (practically) one man crew.
Popularly modded since its inception, lots of variety.
Lots of options to customise the gameplay and aid in replayability.
Due to owning prior to Steam, probably in the region of 200-300 hours already played.

If still in doubt, watch a stream or two. But I would easily recommend this to anyone, especially those into management, base building and simulation.

Tripwire know what they're doing. Welding, co-op, decently priced on release. Pre-ordered and never regretted it. Amazing gunplay.

DiezelPower are fantastic developers. I bought this on the premise that it'd be a good game, which it is. The countless additions since release, continued support and expanding the game with additional features and game modes, is admirable.

DiezelPower really surprised me.
