This game is amazing. I love the visual style, I love the storyline, I love the animations and characters. The gameplay is a little simplistic but it does have a surprising amount of depth and ways to approach situations. It also works great on Steam Deck.

This game is absolutely incredible. One of the best games this year on a shadow drop. I tend to love rhythm games anyway, but this is on a different level. Everything from the visuals, to the soundtrack, to the gameplay, the fun and inventive levels and bosses, everything hit just right for me. It also doesn't overstay its welcome at all, if anything it could stand to be a bit longer. I also played on the Steam Deck and it worked wonderfully. Highly recommended!

I am a huge sucker for games that play on public domain media, and this game doesn't disappoint in the least. The plot is well thought out, and the levels are fun to traverse. Thematically the game is really cool, the idea is a fun twist on the classic Christmas Carol.

The game is a Metroidvania through and through that asks you to revisit old areas as you can new abilities and weapons, and the difficulty gradually increases as you progress.

The art style works really well for the game and the writing is above par aside from a few typos and bugs in a few of the cutscenes. There are also a few random world bugs that don't block you from progressing that I've seen, but they do add extra layers of weirdness to overcome.

Don't go in expecting some of the best games in this genre that you've played, either. It is an indie game and I feel it's a step above what you might expect for a first foray. For one, you will likely find the map to be a pretty weak aspect of the game being relatively unhelpful of areas you should revisit as your skills improve or help guide you to anywhere useful as to you progress the story.

All being said, I think anyone who is into Metroidvania would probably find theb10-12 hours to beat this to be quite an enjoyable distraction from the typical Metroidvania fare.

My play time is a little misleading. I have about 35 hours on Xbox as of the time of writing this review.

If you love Bethesda games, Starfield is far and away a game for you. It retains nearly all of the Bethesda charm and jank in the setting of space. Imagine The Outer Worlds but with a budget and a bit more serious tone, and a lot more fleshed out in every aspect. It also has a kind of Mass Effect vibe as well. Both games I loved and it was nice to get some of that from Starfield. Keep in mind that this is more of an RPG than a space sim and you'll be fine.

Polish wise, the game is a dramatic improvement from previous Bethesda entries. I have a 5800x3D, 3070, and 32 gb RAM and the game runs smoothly enough for my purposes. I also tried in home streaming to the Deck and it worked quite well. There have been no crashes and no major bugs beyond typical clipping issues.

Gameplay wise, this is some of Bethesda's best work. The combat is smoother than any previous game. The character interactions are way above par for BGS. The writing and dialogue feel like a major step up from Fallout 4. And the storylines and quests are exciting and fun, one I ran into the other day was a wild 2 hour ride.

Overall this is more than the game I hoped it would be and I'm having a blast with it.

An excellent follow up to A Plague Tale: Innocence. There are some gameplay elements that aren't as polished, and there are elements of the first game that are nonsensically missing, like being able to get a helmeted opponent to remove their helmet. However, the art style, aesthetic, themes, characters, voice acting, level design, plot, and really everything else about the game are superb. This is easily one of the best narrative action adventure games I have ever played and I'm anxiously looking forward to another entry in this series.

A mostly incredible game with an excellent story. The main issue with it is that almost all of the side content is repetitive and grindy and you will probably get sick of it after about 10 hours. I originally played this game on PS4 and the Peter Parker model in the original version of the game is 1,000% better than the new model, but I became more okay with the change after playing this for a while even though I still dislike and disagree with it.

I have put a little over 34 hours into the game and got 100% completion on the main campaign (but not 100% achievements). I still have the DLC campaigns to do now.

The positives of the game are pretty easy to detail. It has the best swinging in any Spider-Man game ever made, and just traversing the city between objectives is entertaining. The graphics look great on the Deck (where I primarily played) as well as on a good PC. The combat and overall gameplay are really fun. It's kind of like a Spider-Man take on Batman Arkham games. If you like 3rd Person action adventure Brawler games, this is a no-brainer. If you are a fan of Spider-Man then there is not a better game on the market right now.

An excellent game to release after the total dumpster fire that was Avengers. This game is an actual story with an amazing soundtrack, fun gameplay, great voice acting, awesome character development. It's the whole package. It really is shocking how much better of a game it is than Avengers. If you're worried about this one after that one, you can just know that they aren't even similar.

It's flipping Halo! These games are all great, a real testament to the early 2000s shooter. I play through them fairly regularly and they really shine on PC.

This is the must-have experience VR has been waiting for. Visually, it's stunning, the gameplay is exciting, makes your heart race in all the best ways, and entices you to play just a little longer whenever you are ready to stop. An automatic classic.

For any game you can play with a gamepad reasonably, the Steam Link works great. I am using it on 5ghz wifi (the recommendation for the Shield Tablet I also have) and I am able to stream 1080p60 with only a few hiccups.

For games that require precision (like most FPSes) you might hate gaming this way. The stream introduces too much latency to require quick movements and a fast response time. But there are plenty of FPSes that are designed for controllers these days and they work fine. Especially third person games and platformers, or slower/casual games all work fine as long as you have reasonable latency and bandwidth that 5ghz wifi provides.

Even better if you can attach the wire.

Basically, don't buy this thinking you are going to be the best couch Overwatch gamer on PC that ever lived. You won't.

But do buy this because you spend a lot of time in front of your TV but not a lot of time in front of your computer and you still want to play the plethora of games that the Link works fine for.
