Can't wait to see the future of this game. The gear melding/combining aspect at the blacksmith is really fun and creative allowing for some crazy end results.

It's alright

An absolute must buy; even if platformers aren't your thing, this game deserves it. It has so many good things going for it: gorgeous art and level design; a very responsive and fluid control scheme; a heartfelt, moving, storyline and soundtrack. It can be challenging at times but never overly frustrating-- at least not to the point of wanting to put down the controller.

Only two minor cons I have with the game:

1. Direction -- If the map zoomed out a little farther prior to going to the amazing overworld view
   
2. Completionism -- and how you will likely be unable to do so on your first playthrough

Which, really isn't so bad. I'll probably play through a 2nd and a 3rd time at least. But, if you're aiming to 100% on your first run definitely keep an eye out when in the dungeon areas.

All in all, an absolutely wonderful game.
