The English translation is a bit rough at times, but overall the story is still intact and impactful. I strongly recommend this game to those who enjoy solid platforming and story telling.

A really great story based puzzle game. It reminds me of Journey but with some simple puzzles mixed in. I don't want to spoil anything but this game has a powerful message. I recommend this game to anyone who enjoys artistic and compelling stories.

I keep coming back to the Blazblue series year after year. The characters and the combos never seem to leave me. I strongly recommend this game to all other fighters.

At first this was my least favorite souls game, but after 5 or so play-through's. I would say this is the best souls game to play cooperatively with your friends. While the base game is pretty easy there is always more to learn, and the DLC offers some fantastical challenging boss battles.

With over 6k Makoto online matches and over 500h logged on the ps3 version of BBCSEX alone, I can honestly say this is by far my favorite installment of the BlazBlue series... Determined by me and many of my friends to currently be the most balanced (this is before the NA release of BBCP2). That being said I feel the NA price point of this steam release is a bit steep. The game probably should've been priced at 15USD and included the soundtrack with the jp voices. As for the online, I don't like that they removed the connection conditions to rooms that existed in the ps3 version. Because every now and then someone with a low connection to me will join and bog down the entire experience. Another thing is you can't leave rooms while a match is started even when you're a spectator... I'm currently running this game at 1080p 61 fps [full] windows 7 64bit with well over the required specs and it has only crashed once so stability doesn't seem to be a problem. For my last minor annoyance when configuring your buttons you have to press R1 to switch to the device that you want to configure at first I had no idea and it doesn't seem very obvious either. BlazBlue remains to this day the only fighting game I enjoy and literally can't put down. If you like stunning 2D sprites, an unrivaled fighting game story, fluid 2D animations, plus a fighting experience that is unlike any other. I'd recommend this game to you.

This game is absolutly fantastic the steam version might not have an online fuction yet but that doesn't mean you shouldn't pick this game up today! I've been playing blazblue since its release in 2009 and I'm still not bored. The characters are fantasticly deep which adds to an already rich story that rivals any RPG and for a fighting game that is litterly unheard of. If you like beautiful 2D anime sprites, fantastic music, awesome voice acting, solid fighting mechanics, and an emotionally compelling story. You'll love this game!
