Bugs will surely be ironed out, so that aside - absolutely SUPERB main entry into Gen 6! Story will definitely help get newcomers in and situated, and once we get our MR DLC or whatnot, the rest of us will feel right back at home!

Graphics are finnicky, at least on my 7700hq/1070, but once you get things dialed in it plays like a dream. DS4Win DS5 is supported just fine, so no one has to struggle with those god-awful Xbox button prompts!

One of the very, very few mech games with unique combat system and feel for what you're piloting unlike plethora of Overwatch re-skins that pollute the market these days. The devs are actually and noticeably fixing the net code which is amazing for a F2P kind of game considering we're getting AAA, $70 games that are ridden with bugs.

Most important note with GBO2 - you will want to play on a controller since there is little to no advantage to using a mouse and the suits in game feel right with analog side looking and movement. Your sideways look sensitivity is tied to the mech's stats, so faster input does nothing to help you here.

Just, good lord what a mixed bag here. New take on a story mode is fantastic almost enough to merit paying the price just to own a fantastic and long GG movie! Big ups here to Arc.

And the gameplay? Slowed-down fights with all the counters and other mechanics that used to be quick rewards instead of a concession break in the middle of a movie.....where the heck is the series going now? I just can't find it in myself to recommend this one since gameplay mechanics took a complete turn away from what made this series unlike most others so, SO good.

New collecting system is utter garbage and leaves you grinding missions in slim hope you'll manage to get couple of the parts you want to build something half-decent.

Combat and the new engine aren't too bad, but part grinding and lack of variety seriously kills this title over Breaker 3 that was absolutely phenomenal!
