Wendy loves cheese so much she once tried to marry a wheel of Stilton in a registry office in Basingstoke — full veil, bouquet, and a best man made entirely out of Mini Babybels. She claims she’s lactose intolerant, but only emotionally — says she cries every time she sees a mature cheddar because it reminds her of her ex, Colin, who was, coincidentally, also crumbly and kept in the fridge. Tuesdays are reserved for brie whispering, and she insists Gouda cured her verrucas.
