Tedious 'walking'. Missing content. No puzzles. Protagonist has 0 charm or brains, just does stuff bc.

A tortuous experience.

Fun story and gameplay. Game is fully voiced, and is surprisingly good! Art direction is on point, gorgeous scenery and creepy and well made mobs and bosses. Flashy things!

Also, Pan. <3

Store is absurdly expensive, but! This game is a port from a mobile one, and it has crossplay, so I assume the publisher doesn't want to enrage their mobile "whales" lowering their prices just for PC players. I'm sorta OK with that, don't care much for pvp or competitive play.

Early Access Review
*Crash* *Crash* *Crash*

Apparently you can't play in a hosted server, as when you try to change instances it crashes all players connected but the host. This massive bug its been in the game since launch, uh.

Early Access Review
7 Days is (yet another) survival, base builder, zombie apocalypse open world, but what separates it from the rest is that is good, and fun and works (most of the time).

You have to survive and build your base before the blood moon arrives. Every 7 days the blood moon will arise in the sky calling a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of zombies that will destroy all that is in front of them. Each blood moon is more difficult than the other.

The Good Stuff

  • Customizable difficulty. You can chose how long does the day and night last, how many zombies spawn, when loot respawn, what you lose if you die, etc.
  • Easy to host and join games. Dedicated, peer-to-peer, LAN, etc.
  • Crafting is easy, not a chore. Some recipes and different working stations are behind level walls to prevent rushing through everything and to encourage teamwork.
  • The perks system allow the players to choose if they want to play pasive or be more adventurous. You can be the farmer and chef of your team, the scavenger, the fighter, builder, etc.
  • Points of Interests. Lonely houses, towns, cities, traders, etc.
  • Differents biomes with their unique resources, advantages and downsides. Forest, plains, desert, snow, burned to the ground, wasteland, etc.
  • A variety of special zombies. Boomer, witch, spider zombies that can climb anything, some tough sonofab--ch. Also every zombie drop things according to their theme: nurses drop health stuff, workers drop tools, policemen drop ammo and guns, etc.
  • Mods!

Negative
  • Bugs. Lots of bugs. Most of them are hilarious tho, my favorite one is that sometimes when you respawn, for god knows what reason, you get slingshotted to the roof and your ragdoll goes limp, but you are still alive, and you lay there contemplating life waiting for someone or something to kill you. 10/10.
  • Zombie AI is not the best.
  • Animations are confusing.
  • The combat is clunky. But it doesn't come to being frustrating, it just need some ironing.
  • Performance is not the best. Old machines will have a hard time trying to run the game.

Development team

They are active. They have been working on the game steadily since 2013. Five years and they have not drop the development of the game; they keep pushing small and big updates. They have an active conversation with players to improve what is good, change the bad and create new stuff.
Again, 5 years and they keep improving the game. They could easily launch this as a finished product, get the money from the "release" hype and start other project, but here they are.

One thing that I reprobate is the release they made to consoles. An unfinished product that hardly gets updates. Guess they needed the money (?!).

Anyway, I've been playing this game since late 2014 and it keeps luring me again and again, and I have fun everytime.

I tried to play it but I couldn't made it beyond the first kid. I was playing it on the night with nobody home and the stress of playing it was too much, I said to myself 'Its OK, I'll continue it on the day'.

I never played it again. #2spooky

The hack and slash is unrewarding with confusing mechanics that feel unnecessary.
Stock characters, bland dialogue with .... can you call that a story? I know it was wierd, thats for sure.

My advice is to go for a better game than this.
(I guess if you are into boobs you can enjoy this ♥♥♥♥.)

I love me some good story, even more when your actions have repercussions in said story, but I can't forgive this game for
inflate its time of gameplay with a boring, RNG dependant ''gameplay''. Having to repeat a scene over and over again because you got unlucky, losing interest, nitpicking on thing that you didn't notice the first 3 times...It is really not worth the effort.

Thief is my favorite game. Period.

The gameplay is fantastic, controls are smooth, your weapons make sense for a thief, you can go the whole map without killing people! or kill, whatever, but killing is loud and boring :) (hard mode is usually "don't kill and bring lots of booty").

The levels are often design so there is more than one entry and exit, so you can choose how to rute your heist with your map (sometimes the maps are incomplete or have less information). Some paths are of easier access than some. Guards have walking paths, so you can time your actions.

The sounds come from their source so is a game where you can actually rely on this to know where everything is, also, you make sound too! so you have to be careful when walking over hard floors. So you have to hide in shadows, be quiet and patient.

But gameplay alone doesn't make a great game, eh? Well, the atmosphere of Thief is overwhelming. The ambient sound, the dark structures, the cold metal spread all over the city, the soft humming of machines ...the feeling that you (Garrett) are the only sane person around.

The first few levels are just jobs, you are a thief and thats all, you have no interest on petty power struggles, but as the game progress everything turns twisted and you get involved in some strange ♥♥♥♥.

The game presents its universe little by little, it wraps you, and in the end you just want to know more.

People could say its nostalgia, but I tell you, the Haunted Cathedral still gives me the chills.
