I’m feeling incredibly disappointed right now. It’s hard to express just how much I was looking forward to the upcoming DLC for Super Mario Wonder, especially because it was supposed to feature a Fortnite crossover. I can’t believe it’s not happening. When I first heard the news, I got so excited about the possibilities: Mario and the gang running through Fortnite-inspired maps, using some of the fun weapons and cosmetics that Fortnite is known for. It felt like the perfect blend of two amazing worlds.
But now, with the announcement that the DLC won’t be released, I’m left feeling deflated. I had imagined so many fun scenarios, and now it feels like a huge missed opportunity. Both Mario and Fortnite have such rich and vibrant universes, and the thought of seeing them collide in a DLC was thrilling. Now, it just feels like all of that excitement has been taken away.
