It's classic Metal Slug. The game play is tight. The visual style and animations are as amazing as ever. It's fun.

However the multiplayer is currently only supported through local coop and remote play. The local coop works fine, but using the remote play over the internet causes unbearable input lag.
One of the best parts about Metal Slug is playing it with your friends so badly functioning online play is a deal breaker for me. I will update the review to a positive one if this issue gets patched.

The best original build engine game. The setting is harrowing, the game play is brutal and killing stuff is fun as hell.
