Normalized does not mean normal. this just shows how oblivious these internet users are to this awful stuff.
I see many people saying that this is okay just because other big projects use shady stuff like this or are owned by certain companies. No, this does not mean that this is automatically okay, these same people are saying things like "oh well these big social media you use like snapchat tiktok are also spying so why care?" first of all, i care because its bad, second of all, i dont use those ♥♥♥♥♥♥ services like that or ♥♥♥♥♥♥ software like microsoft windows or adobe.
If YOU are ok with random people snooping in your digital goods, whatever. but if that is you, dont say you arent okay with random people intruding into your real life home and inspecting your memories, sensitive info, valuable items, etc
