The Trinity of Stutter, I summon you from the deeps!

Traversal stutter! Shader cache stutter! Frame-pacing issues!

Unreal engine at its finest. A strong recommendation for stutter connoisseurs.

Probably one of the most unfun beat'em ups I have ever played. Extremely button-mashy and too hectic for its own sake.
The only thing that carries this game is the IP. Only worth it for a nostalgia trip, and only in short bursts.

Many great indie titles are often overlooked due to the insane stream of clutter we get here every day, so I decided to leave a short review.

TL:DR Very well made strategy/action rpg (no loot) level-based story driven game. Each level varies from linear with some branching paths, to somewhat open areas, that require exploration. Both of which feature combat with monsters, simplistic puzzles, secret items and upgrades.

    Graphics:
  • Character models and animations are smooth and distinct, you never lose track of what's going on during fights/ exploration or puzzle solving.
    Soundtrack:
  • The soundtrack is calm and soothing, unless you're fighting a giant golem with your army of minions, of course. Too bad there is no option to purchase it, otherwise I certainly would, some nice tunes.
    Controls:
  • Unlike similar games, where you have to order many units at the same time, control system here always felt responsive and was working nicely on both kb/m and with an xbox gamepad.
    Story:
  • Got several playthroughs out of it, even though I usually don't replay games. It's just charming and enjoyable, the story is not very deep, quite lighthearted, but the characters are likeable. Voice acting is good enough too, even if a bit cringe-worthy, sometimes.
    Combat:
  • The highlight of the game. Strategically positioning each of the several types of minions you create and control feels great. You can also deal damage with your main character, who weilds a glaive-staff, used both for summoning units and melee attacks both, so you never feel like an armchair general.
    Achievements:
  • A decent list, most of it is story-based, no grinding required, featuring chapter select to get S ranks and collectibles. There is, however, one specific achievement that might require a second playthrough on a fresh save slot(there are three), but it doesnt take long to finish after you're all maxed out on your original run

Stylish, gorgeous, and runs like a dream. If you like the theme, and 3d platformers in general - get this.

Beautifully rendered environments, touching story, smooth and precise controls, all complimented by a fantastic soundtrack that I immediately purchased after finishing the game. If you still cant decide whether you want this or not, trust me, you do.

Also, in addition to minor layout changes, some quality of life improvements and added areas, the definitive edition completely fixed all the performance issues (there was some slight stutter) I had in the original, making it truly great.

T.E.C. 3001 is a skill based parkour-runner, and I was very surprised with the amount of content and replayability this game provides for merely 4 bucks. In addition to the pleasing visuals, and a very nice soundtrack, there's also gameplay that takes minutes to learn yet is hard to master without being boring or annoying.

Actually there were no points in the game where I felt frustrated by the game mechanics, if I failed at a certain spot I knew it was just my fault for not reacting quick enough, the checkpoints are also very well placed.

And this is probably the only game that made me feel like i'm going REALLY fast, Sonic has got nothing on this robot

Stick it to the Man has to be one of the most hilarious puzzle-platformers I've ever played. It has got everything - voice acting is great, soundtrack is wonderful, story and characters are clever and funny, the puzzle system is also very well made. This game is just a joy to play and I highly recommed it to anyone.
