There's a big learning curve, but some UI mods can help with that pretty easily. Lots of replayability as you can pick any country in the world. Pick up the base game on sale, and if you like it, look for the DLC when it's on sale too. Can't really recommend it at full price, but on sale, it's excellent.

The naval combat can be a bit annoying against some nations, and the AI can be pretty dumb at times, but it never quite feels like you're being cheated. Once you get the hang of it, you can really snowball against the world, but the achievements and mission trees keep it interesting.

Very solid entry in TW series. Reminds me a lot of Shogun 2 but with a much improved campaign experience. Factions may not differ THAT much, but every starting point on the map does.

Definitely not a shameful display.

Much much better than it was in 2016. Although it is still pretty aimless, and the main story is a bit lacking, there is plenty to do and the exploration keeps improving. Still a lot of grinding, though.

Steam awards obligatory review.

Very good game at taking a lot of time and testing your design ideas. Great if you are sadistic or efficient. Execution prisoners are a bit confusing at first.

My only wish is that there were some faster time functions.

The escape mode is fun but can be near impossible if you knew what you were doing earlier.

A better sequel than Tony Hawks pro skater 5.

Kill aliens. Find new ways to kill more aliens. It's a fun time even if your mens and womens get killed.
