Sniper Elite 3 treads that fine line between realism and fun, but it comes together well, providing cheap kicks for those who enjoy over-the-top sniper kills, and a modicum of tactical depth for players looking for something more substantial.

Rust is a game about survival. But that takes time. Initially, it's just about death. It's about freezing to death, and starving to death, being shot to death and getting bitten to death; occasionally mixing things up a little by slipping on a warm radiation coat and fading faster than your faith in humanity after being stabbed in the back by a supposed friend's hatchet. Sometimes you get gored to death. Other times, bored to death. It's not easy, surviving post-apocalyptic civilisation with nothing but a rock - especially when your enemies have guns, and double-especially in a game that makes you work just to earn a pair of basic trousers...

Space engineers is similar to minecraft is aspect of building and crafting, just that it is in outer space. However, it might be slightly overwhelming for new players and it is highly recommended to go through a tutorial. Otherwise, crafting and gameplay is simple enough once you have figured it out.

Most importantly, get a few friends to play with you. A couple of hours of shenanigans is all good, but the lack of an objective or goal will eventually bore you. Do note that there is much more to be released as this game is still incomplete, and there is still a lot of potential.

This is the type of game that only comes around once in a life time. The game has a massive modding community that is creating thousands of amazing mods to use. The only problem is that the games patches tend to break the game rather than fix it.

Pure, unadulterated, manic fun that speaks to every sane person's desire to really just be a humongous black devil goat, merrily wreaking havoc unto the unsuspecting world of mortals. GOATY 2014.

Sniper Elite: Nazi Zombie Army 2 delivers the very same concept that made the first episode enjoyable for all the Sniper Elite fans out there, with very few changes indeed.

A follow-up that doesn't disappoint. What's more - it's simply a great game that should appeal to the veterans of the series (they can stop worrying about their favorite bald-headed assassin), as well to those players about to meet Agent 47 for the first time. The finished product is not only very complex, but extremely playable thanks to great freedom and rich content that provide high quality fun for hours.

C&C4 feels much more refined as a result of these changes - as though great pains have been made to nudge the series into new territory. It's all the better for it, feeling like a breath of fresh air.

It may lack some of the community niceties, beloved maps (Assault, anyone?), and little features of past games, but Global Offensive delivers on the promise of a faithful, polished, and better looking Counter-Strike for whoever wants it. Even if the community doesn't meet the golden standard of 1.6 and Source, CS:GO will remain a multiplayer classic for those willing to put in the time to learn the maps and weapons.

Bioshock Infinite is a visionary piece of entertainment where the gameplay, characters, art style and story all come together to make what undoubtedly will be considered one of the best games of this generation.
