While short I did not feel it had to be longer, unique gameplay and an interesting story.
I am glad that the developers did something different.

Well, it's a good game, I think...

When I first played the game I was not really impressed. There was too much hype.
Last Fallout game I played was Ned Vegas so I had really high expectations.
But, I grew fond of it. It's a good game, but not really worth the full price, but that's just my personal opinion.
If it's a good sale get Nuka World and Far Harbor, they are good DLC's.
The thing that made me play so many hours are the mods, the game even in 2020 has a great modding community. Get the game and go have fun in the Nexus.

An amazing game. but keep in mind it's not forgiving, like, it's quite brutal.
On easy it's kinda hard and let's not talk about the other difficulties.
I'ts light enough on the hardware that you can run it on a notebook so it's the perfect distraction on long trips, that is of course if you don't have a good book on you.

I love jumping ship and ending up in the water.

Planetside 2 is a one of the best F2P games you can find.

The pros:

-->The game is free so you can try it without giving a dime.
-->The graphics and artstyle are amezing and PhysX effects look spectacular especially in the night.
-->The game is an mmo fps game with gigantic battles that can reach number as high a 300 vs 300.
-->A large variety of weapons, skins and upgrades for you to choose.
-->Very strategic gameplay if you are in a squad or platoon.
-->3 different factions with their own weapons vehicles and aircraft.
-->6 different class for you to choose: Light assault, Heavy assault, Engineer, Medic, MAX and they all have completely different abilities and weapons.

The cons:

-->The first thing that you will notice is that the performance is pretty bad even after the latest update. This is because of the extremely large map and battles but still you would expect better performance.
-->The in-game voice chat is very bad and people are most than often just annoying. I recommend you use Team Speak 3.
-->The game gets boring very fast if you don't join an outfit (clan) to play more strategically. I played for 15 hours before I got bored. I played around 150 hours in a month (non steam version).
-->Most of the weapons look very similar and they cost a lot of certs (you gain certs with exp) or you can buy them with station cash (real money) for around 7-10 Euro a weapon.
-->You can only get skins with real money.
-->The 3 different factions have only 1 land and 1 air vehicle unique the other ones are just re-skins with different stats.

Conclusion:

The game feels great, looks great and is one of my all time favorite fps. It has its problems, but you will not find this unique game style anywhere else. Give it a try its free and its good.
I would give it a 8.3/10 (I hate scores)

This game is a big improvement over the last one.
If you like a juvenile humor and co-op this is the game for you.
Just remebmer that if you play on your own you are gonna have fun but only for like 20-40 hours max but with friends...
Ohh god its just awesome!
And now that it is on sale for 7.49€ just get it if you have the money to spare.

Got the game for 1.74€ and loved it BUT I have to say that the single player SUCKS! Then read that Rising Storm was better and had the multiplayer of Red Orchestra 2. Since that was on sale to bought it for 3.74€ and I have to say that it's my new favorite WWII fps and maybe even favority fps in general! :D I reccomend this to anyone that wants a good hardcore fps. But keep in mind that this is alot slower and more tactical than cod or Bf. 9/10 a fantastic game!

Good DLC if you preordered the game but the truth is that it's not worth 7.5€ for just 3 extra factions, maybe a price of 3-4€ could be better for someone that REALLY wants these factions.

EDIT: This an old review and my opinion is currently a lot different than it used to be. It all started with Rome 2 and as they continued with this trend for a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of DLCs for this game and later installations of the series I have grown to hate them as a company. I remember the thousands of hours playing Rome 1 and Medieval 2, later the Kingdoms expansion, I liked that game so much that when I lost my cd I bought it again. With Shogun 2 being one of my all time favorites, I was a loyal customer, but they lost me and many others with Rome 2 and the rest with Attila. It's not that the games are bad, it's the DLC policy. Yes, Rome 2 was ♥♥♥♥ when it came out, it felt really rushed and so did Attila, bit I would not say that they are truly bad games. So as an old fan of the Total War series I would not recommend this DLC and if you really want to buy it get it on a sale...

It's maybe a bit old but it's a heck of a game...
