I selected an East server (Eden) to play with my friends - so they put my timezone in EST. That's fine right? But you can't change your displayed timezone/time in the actual game. Because everyone who selects East lives in the East timezone??

Not to mention that when you window the game and go back to fullscreen the UI glitches out and you have to completely restart.

The UI is extremely laggy and unoptimized - would have expected better from Amazon.

Dodging and fighting feels clunky.

The modding capability of the game is incredible and the longevity of content and gameplay is fantastic. This is a game you can grind for hours and then lose everything and have to build up again. Definitely strategy involved and is as hard as you make it.

The game has a bunch of different game modes and the campaign is great. This game is very difficult and almost comparable to Escape From Tarkov in its strategy and aesthetic. Tons to do and very moddable!

Do I recommend the game? Yes, I do recommend the game -- it has an extremely well thought out game procedure and the mechanics are solid with little bugs and the player base is somewhat toxic in all playlists, but you usually get really good games.

Do I recommend spending any other money on the game? NO.

I just recently got into Rocket League and my experience was very enjoyable. I came late to the game so I decided not to purchase the rocket pass only to find out that the season was ending on the fourth of December and a new update was coming out with the new rocket pass (Rocket Pass 5).

I was so extremely hyped for this rocket pass and update since I just got into the game, BUT this update actually sold the games death wish. Psyonix you really f****d up on the partnership with Epic Games. The prices are insanely inflated and high. You completely ruined the player ran market and didn't consider your player base one bit.

If you look at the forums right now: it is completely littered with disgust about the new Rocket Pass and blueprint update. The previous system was much better than the one in place now and is definitely going to drive player base away.

The previous pass costed 10 keys which was $9.99 -- a fair price for what you got in the pass: I think it was somewhere ~12-14 keys? Now, you pay 1000 credits (1100 = $9.99) for the pass and only get 500 credits in total from the pass side which isn't enough to even open a very rare blueprint. You guys chose money over your concurrent player base, oof.
