amazing game, not quite like the previous assassins games, infact a literally open world game that started with assassins origins and play as you like (which i like most about such games/genres) exploring at your own pace.

overall>9
loved every bit of this game, kassandra is a top notch character, more than alexios's character build. i felt like the games narrative was heavily progressed towards women, and so it showed in a beautiful way.

graphics >9
while it may shine in some areas, the highlight of this game is the 90% entirety of gameplay heavily invested in lighting and earth models. greece is a formidable ground for foilage testing and even on a 4080 on very high settings, it barely touches the 100fps throughout, some FPS drops here in there, but overall its consistant. the islands are gorgeous, the greenary is defined well. the sun is screaming "suntan".

gameplay>8
gameplay is solid 8. the combination of heavy attack plus special attacks is very challenging and needs practice. luckily some bosses arent very fast paced and do give you time to counter well. the fighting couldve been more smoother if they had an automatic lockon system while in combat with hordes.
one aspect that feels really underated is the upgrade system. aside from engravings that have bonus stats, the rest of the upgrade system for both weapoons and health wise arent really noticeable.

sound>8

MALAKAAA :D love kass saying this over time and the use of this word is gorgeous in a perverse way. the sounds are good, music is sombre and feels greekish. better sounds were in black flag overall.even the shanties were better there :3

environment> 9
dense and dark in some parts, vibrant and lush in others, murky in some and breathtaking in others. loved the animals in it. loved that i got to fight off sharks :P the whole of greece is embedded with supremely rich culture and mythology (greek being my favorite). the use of picturesque views for gorgeous photoshooting and spots to just take in the views is breathtaking. like blackflag and even valhalla, water plays a significant role although unlike blackflag which did an outstanding job on water missions, it didnt really reflect much here aside from capturing the "spoilers" ,
overall environment is beautifully done and you feel alive and vibrant mostly. also sweaty and drunk :P

missions >8

countless missions, ive had to redo many coz for achievements and obviously see different outcomes. side missions on many occasions was more uplifting than the major storyline. some were tough AF, especially boss fights. not gonna name any here. play the game to figure it on your own :P. but honestly missions were nice. tracking missions were alot, kassandra felt more of a fkng hounddog than an assassin at more than one point during the game. lmfao

story >
main > 8
DLC legacy of first blade > 7
DLC Fate of Atlantis > 8

so story is awesome honestly. the first setting (main) is mostly about the characters path and their life. without spoiling anything, the narratives are excellent. excellent voicework by actors. love kassandras voice, its sultry and thin and pleasing to the ear. she rarely talks on her own and when she does, gives off a pleasing vibe. the NPCs and side characters are amazing as well. main storyline only suffers coz of the duration. it feels expanded without any real cause.

DLC legacy of the the first blade is an excellent storyline and it actually feels MORE assassins creed than the entirety of the game. exploration is less focused as the story here has. its dark and feels robust.

DLC the fate of atlantis is kinda divided into 3 parts > elysium, hades and atlantis . Elysium carries a solid 10/10 for picturesque views and absolutely breathtaking landscapes. storyline is normal and id give it a 7 on that. the characters are engaging and nice. Hades is also a solid 10/10. it shows the more dark, horror filled and gloomy side of the game, what happens to the people who die and have sinned their lives? well, hades waits for them :P and at last the final Atlantis chapter > 8/10 extremely beautiful and modernized completely. but story so short it felt like a runthrough more than grinding..

recomendation? ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ absolutely :)

what to write abt this game. wont be everybodys cup of tea. love harvest games. the redemption plots never fail to grab attention.

played cat lady, lorelei, downfall and now this. gotta say cat lady and lorelei are still better than this part by far. i loved that one of the previous character makes a cameo appearance. id rate this game a solid 7. it couldve been much much better for some better storyline and other character arcs, but it disappoints abit. catlady had a superb storyline and honestly tops all these games easily., however not all was bad and alot of it was good. it was actually great to see that like previous titles, there is always one choice in the game that always makes a difference. and so here too the choices matter somewhat, albeit which one :P

all in all, deserving of a good standalone game title. but deserving of a good harvester series game? debatable.

the only thing special about it aside from the fact that tina's narrating it and there is some magic stuff going on. did really enjoy most of it, seemed somewhat different from the others. somethings were new or original to state the least. that being said, gameplay is 8/10. some areas are cool also the "board game" appeal is kinda awesome imo. recommend only on a sale and if you just wanna grind and repeat grind and repeat. what also really got me confused were the gun names. anyways 7/10 overall.

so lets talk about Resident Evil lineage for a minute and then get back to Resident Evil 8 : VIllage

Firstly i must say, much has changed. old technology gave more scares and more clunky/choppy gameplay but brilliant frustration and replayability value but the newer games have at times been a hit and miss. the series has progressed beautifully in terms of storyline, character arc, gameplay, music scores etc. but truly one thing Resident Evil franchise has managed to capture is its ability to make the game lovable or hateable.

Resident Evil Village is one such game which players will eventually come to love or hate. dont get me wrong, 7 and 8 are 2 of the most beautiful games made by capcom and trust me when i say youre paying worth every penny for the gameplay. but there is always a hit and miss.

i dont know whether the directors and producers constantly choose to ignore customer feedback or they just want to indulge in their own "Xperiments".

The game itself is well written, makes sense, nothing mind boggling about the narratives. characters are nice, and their layers etc are beautifully designed as well. i really wish the puzzles ARENT cheesy ffs. i want to be challenged in puzzles. the only puzzle that really made me think more then 5 minutes was Heisenbergs Horse Door Key .

the characters are magnificent in their own maniacal way. Alcina moreau donna and heisenberg are good villians. and heisenberg tops the cake for the fights. donnas layer, is well... wont reveal spoilers, ...the best EVER part of all the Resident Evil parts. trust me when i say that its saddening when the part comes to an end. <3

the areas are well, typical of resident evil imagination. but nice to see that the game blends in well with gameplay and doesnt concentrate on one area all the time. the back-forth pacing is what RE is loved about. the frustration to complete a puzzle by realizing "OHHHHHH so thats how this works" , these little things have a small but meaningful impact on the game.

the guns and their animations are nicely designed but i feel the "aiming" has some glitchy responses. at one point i couldnt even shoot GOAT point blank with my shotty. and the recoil seemed to far off. same goes for all the weapons, even the rifle, whos open view shooting seemed ridiculous, even at close quarters. -.-

the cold bitter theme of the outside village during the first half of the game is what is RE all about, sending shivers. the slow pace and constant feel to expect something out of nowhere. dont get me wrong, the scares are plenty, but.. not really VERY scary.

missions are good. i wont lie, this game didnt seemed dragged or anyway short. it was well balanced. i DO wish and pray for a longer run for Resident Evil 9 in future. want more then 30-40 hrs of gameplay. want puzzles back with a vengeance and i want one of those "nemesis" type c*nts following everywhere i go. i want constant fear on me that if i wait in a room too long, its not going to end well. sadly RE8 lacked this. and you could explore and hunt at your own will and pace. it didnt make you "run for your life" nor did it make you feel scared. it was... relaxed lol. and RE series is anything BUT relaxed.

the music score is one of the best of the series. i loved the music especially during the lycan fights and i honestly felt there was some great fighting sequence about to be had. action was great. felt RE4 all over again.

overall, more improvement from RE7, and definitely there is more potential for future titles <333

Ive been playing games since age 4-5 when atari and nintendo were the craze.. down the line played some epic titles and for a good number of years certain titles never left my top 10 game list, console and pc i.e only 3 of the top 10 of my list never changed TILL Skyrim came along.

Not only because of this game i had to reshuffle the whole list especially top 3, but i had to literally make sure, and im quite confident, that i wont change the top 5 titles again after this.

This intention was made in the year 2012, when i first played skyrim and now its 2019-- 7 years down the line, & Skyrim is still all time my personal favorite game.

Whats not good about it.. the music, lore, vastness of map, expansion, character build, pacing, appeal, mods, colorization of certain beautiful areas of skyrim make it absolutely breathtaking. Sure Oblivion was one heck of a game as well and il be honest oblivion at times does much better in story arcs than skyrim, but overall Skyrim is just top notch.

For players who love adventure, sidekicks, dragon lore, factions, horse rides, costume mods etc, literally unlimited weapons, then this is your safe haven.

OH WHAT BEAUTY <3
i instantly fell in love with the visuals when i first saw its trailer wayback in 2015... the game is as addicting as is its visuals. drawn to such lengths of stunning beauty, iv never come across any game in the last 10 years, with the true exception of The Elder Scrolls : Skyrim.

story > fantasic. for 2d games, Limbo first attracted me. no doubt. but this game made sure that the genre lives on, even with the immergence of extreme graphic games, this stands out magnificently and proud.

graphic and visuals > no question, one of the most satisfyingly gorgeous games of all time. Moon studios guys and gals :P have done an extremely fantastic job of making the players visually "Awed" and "glued" to the screen.

gameplay > same as any 2d games of the old times, nothing fancy, simple and logical game with a few puzzle-ish levels thrown in for extra excitement. not to forget the power-ups and save-points (very important not to waste the soul link :P)
also it is well worth 10-12hrs gameplay. so its a fair enough time for such a game :)

audio > TOP CLASS music. fantasy/mystical and breathtaking aura presents all around the game. i will try and download the OST for this game because its a masterpiece.

overall experience > ive played this game before, WELL WORTH the buy on steam after 3 years. and seeing its STILL well WORTH everything. anyone who was fond of "Limbo" and "Inside" due to their dark and eerie theme, well, Moonstudios have done the exact opposite and presented a true gem of a game <3

buy it whether on sale or not,coz its just one of those golden games, you need to have irrespective what happens .
one thing i need to mention is that, its playable from all ages, so a 10 year old can play this game without any problems :)
